November 2nd and 3rd I attended the first session of The Grind Session Group 1 #Bubble located at the Phhacility in Phx,AZ.

There are 10 teams in this session and I viewed 5 local teams in AZ Compass Prep, Bella Vista Prep, Dream City Christian, Phhoenix Prep and Phhoenix Prep Blue.

There are 5 other teams in the Bubble with Veritas Prep (CA), Prolific Prep (CA), West Oaks (FL), US Basketball (OR) and one other local team I will see Nov 11th in Eduprize.

Here were some more of the senior standouts I viewed:

[player_tooltip player_id="811095" first="Jayden" last="Nunn"] Dream City Christian

The more I am watching him, the more and more I like him. Two starters were out for them and he showed what he can do with more opportunity. He had 19/5 vs Prolific, 16/5 vs Compass and 20/6 vs West Oaks. He showed he is a better shooter with more reps and rhythm. He is extremely athletic to get to the rim, makes players around him better and really defends his position with his athletic gifts and stronger frame.

[player_tooltip player_id="993007" first="Tyler" last="Simon"] Dream City Christian

-A deep shooter is a perfect compliment to Nunn. He has a quick release with NBA range. He is a true combo guard who scores it and can find teammates. The Harvard commit opens up space for Kaluma, Sharpe and Nunn inside.

[player_tooltip player_id="799296" first="Glenn" last="Taylor"] AZ Compass Prep

-A very versatile point forward type. He rebounds well and is a strong driver. He attacks almost like a running back and carves out space with his body and uses his handle to score through and around traffic. He make many little plays that add up to help his team win. He plays winning basketball at all times.

[player_tooltip player_id="931378" first="Lamin" last="Sabally"] Bella Vista Prep

-A versatile wing defends multiple positions. He defends PG’s through PF’s with freaky long arms, good lateral quickness and a high IQ to know where to go. He crashes the glass at a high level on both sides of the court showing a real motor. Offensively he can catch and shoot from the perimeter and has a good first step with long strides and looks to make plays for others often.

[player_tooltip player_id="931379" first="Isaac" last="Spears"] Bella Vista Prep

-A natural scoring combo guard can score it with the best of them. He has good bounce and deep shooting 3pt range. He is best off the catch with a quick release and he can create his own shot. He also can make plays for his teammates as a sneaky good passer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1035631" first="Joshua" last="Uduje"] AZ Compass Prep (Pictured)

-A super athletic guard came in off the bench and made play after play. He brings a lot of energy on the defensive end and he is an out of area rebounder, as he crashes the glass. He is a sneaky good passer and makes open 3’s off the catch plus can straight line drive to the basket. He blocks shots and collects steals.
