Extending to the full 153, three players from Class A-Public are in the rankings – two belonging to Drew Charter. No. 17 [player_tooltip player_id="870156" first="Ja’Kobe" last="Strozier"] is a budding star. He was the Region 5-A Player of the Year a season ago earning the honors over top private school players. He may be the best player in the entire classification and he has help in No. 106 [player_tooltip player_id="1049117" first="JaQuez" last="Thornton"], a shifty guard that can score from the perimeter. Lanier County has been one of the better programs in A-Public the past few seasons but Brown will need to do heavy lifting since 6-foot-8 Amaree McGriff has graduated.
