GHSA Season Preview: Player Rankings 2022

As the 2020-21 GHSA high school basketball season quickly approaches we will breakdown each classification based on our updated player rankings, highlighting the Top 100.

Class 3A

Seven juniors from seven different schools in Class 3A make the cut in the Top 100. No. 14 [player_tooltip player_id="948807" first="D’ante" last="Bass"] leads the way from Savannah. Bass is a freak athlete with great length. His first season in the GHSA was a memorable one as he turned Windsor Forest into a title contender. The 6-foot-7 wing is a D-I prospect. No. 40 [player_tooltip player_id="1011348" first="Mitchell" last="Taylor"] pieced together a consistent offseason and has seen D-I programs start hitting up his phone. He’s a smooth ball handler that can put up points when needed. No. 41 [player_tooltip player_id="1049114" first="Jordan" last="Brewer"] is back from a lengthy hiatus and is another piece at Coach Jon-Michael Nickerson’s disposal at heavy favorite Sandy Creek. No. 44 [player_tooltip player_id="1011352" first="Aidan" last="Hadaway"] represents for the small schools up north. He has the state’s best motor and averaged over 16 points and 10 rebounds per game with the Atlanta Timberwolves this Summer while playing up in 17U. No. 67 [player_tooltip player_id="870171" first="Khristian" last="Clark"] is burly and skilled. He can play 1-5 and has great passing ability. No. 85 [player_tooltip player_id="1050039" first="Gaddis" last="Heath"] will likely see a rise in the rankings as he’s the go-to guy at Douglass after having a solid offseason scoring the ball. No. 93 [player_tooltip player_id="1045699" first="Keylan" last="Rutledge"] is turning into a big-time football prospect but Big Red is also a handful on the low block with his nimble footwork and soft touch.
