They feature multiple college prospects that can play on the D2/D3/JUCO/NAIA levels and have already shown some chemistry during the 9 Dime Fall League. Let’s take a glance at some of the players we expect to have a impact for the Bulldogs this season.
Senior Guard Josh Thompson-Parker: Has a natural ability to score the ball at a high level by using his slashing and shooting ability. At about 6’2/6’3 he’s has height to play the SG spot at a smaller school. Last season he led the squad in scoring, averaging 22 Points a game while pulling down 4 rebounds per.
Senior Guard Kelton Battle: A pass first PG, Battle does a nice job of getting his teammates involved, makes good reads and passes that lead to buckets. On the defensive side of the ball he’s constantly applying pressure which forces opponents to be sped up which leads to forced turnovers.
2021 Guard Derik Canady: A new addition to the squad , Derik will be a player that’s a huge difference maker for the Bulldogs. He’s a competitor that makes plays on both ends of the floor and has proven himself as a legit college prospect.
2021 Forward Nehemiah McClain: A prospect that won’t necessarily pass the initial eye test, he’s one of those that will impress your after watching him for a few moments. He can shoot the deep ball, rebound at a high rate and is an efficient player overall.
2024 Guard Kenny Vera: A young talent who is still finding his way, Vera is one we expect to turn the corner for his team this season. Last season he showed some flashes of what he could potentially be, he can make plays as a PG but also score off the ball.
