2022 6-7 F Sean Ivory – Alexander

At 6-foot-7, Sean Ivory showed some flashes throughout camp of what his potential holds. Ivory was vocal on defense, serving as his team’s anchor directing traffic. He had a nice touch in the lane and saw his game expand as the day went on and he got more comfortable. Ivory attacked from 15-feet and in, hit the mid-range jumper and scored on turnarounds out of the post. He will need some more weapons in his back-to-the-basket arsenal, but Ivory should get better with more reps and should see a vastly improved role with the Cougars this season.

2022 6-2 PG [player_tooltip player_id="598778" first="Jameel" last="Rideout"] – Discovery

The master of the mid-range, [player_tooltip player_id="598778" first="Jameel" last="Rideout"] continued his upward trajectory, standing out as one of the best guards in camp. His smooth game was on display, getting into the lane and facilitating while still finding the time to put in points from 15-feet and out to the three-point line. Rideout understands what he’s best at and plays within himself. He’s a mature lead guard that’s ready to explode at Discovery. He earned his first offer after camp from Charleston Southern.

2022 6-1 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1049036" first="MJ" last="Winter"] – Mt. Pisgah

Malachi Winter challenged himself at camp, taking on the task of defending the opposing team’s best guard. The lefty did a nice job of using his length to make things difficult and applied pressure at half court and beyond. He got into passing lanes and found plenty of breakaway opportunities. Winter was a streaky shooter from deep. When he saw one go down, he got hot in a hurry.

2022 6-3 CG [player_tooltip player_id="1049115" first="Asher" last="Woods"] – Parkview

It was a strong day of work for [player_tooltip player_id="1049115" first="Asher" last="Woods"]. His talent and high ceiling shined throughout the day. He’s a wiry guard that knows how to get to the basket, utilizing in-and-out dribbles and attacking defenders’ feet with sharp angles to keep them from opening their hips. He was smart with the ball and didn’t force anything.

2021 6-5 PF [player_tooltip player_id="869632" first="Jamarcus" last="Glover"] – Miller Grove

A bruising forward, [player_tooltip player_id="869632" first="Jamarcus" last="Glover"] may have been the most physical player in camp. He’s foxhole type teammate that you know you can go to war with. He snatches rebounds with strong hands and uses his body to block out taller players and eliminate second chance opportunities. He had a really nice moment on the perimeter when he pickpocketed a guard and went coast-to-coast for the finish. On the low block, he worked in a head and ball fake to free himself from the defense and scored on baby hooks.
