Luke Turner Luke Turner 6'8" | SG Santa Margarita Catholic | 2021 State CA-S 6’7 SF Rancho Christian 2021 (#21PHSC 2021) – Turner’s IQ showed up on the basketball court in his ability to defend ball screens and provide help defense. It shouldn’t come as a surprise as the 6’7 wing is a fabulous student who rocks a 4.0 GPA.
Jaylen Wesley Jaylen Wesley 6'4" | PF McClintock | 2022 State AZ 6’2 PF McClintock 2022 (#76PHA 2022) – Yes, Wesley is a very good student and his 3.7 GPA proves just that. What I’m most impressed with is his IQ when retrieving the pumpkin. The undersized forward seems to be a student of the art of rebounding, understanding angles and the position of where he needs to be when the ball clangs off the rim.
Blessing Nwotite Blessing Nwotite 6'2" | SG Paradise Honors | 2022 State AZ 6’2 SG Paradise Honors 2022 (#35PHA 2022) – High Motor, high energy, high effort guy. Nwotite also displays that work effort in the classroom as the 6’2 wing sports a 4.2 GPA
Pascal Volz Pascal Volz 6'1" | CG McClintock | 2022 State AZ 6’0 PG McClintock 2022 (#70PHA 2022) (featured image) – When you watch Volz play, it’s easy to see that he is a student of the game. The cerebral PG has a terrific understanding of offensive basketball and does a great job of organizing and helping his team get the best shot on each offensive possession. It should come as no surprise that the high intellectual PG also gets it done in the classroom, rocking a 4.2 GPA.
Calvin Schmelling 6’5 SG Clark 2022 – Schmelling was impressive all weekend, displaying a terrific offensive skill set. His shooting, length, and iso ability caught my eye, however, what makes him a most intriguing prospect is his 4.0 GPA.
Vincent Berlucchi Vincent Berlucchi 6'7" | SF La Costa Canyon | 2022 State CA-S 6’6 SF Santa Fe Christian 2022 (#60PHN 2022) – Berlucchi is a long wing capable of scoring from mid-range and from behind the arc. In the classroom, he is more than capable, as the So Cal prospect sports a 3.8 GPA.
