Rickey Bradley Rickey Bradley 6'1" | PG Phhoenix Prep | 2022 State AZ – 2021 – G – Wisconsin Playmakers South
Bradley has flown under the radar a bit, but averaged 12 points per game as a junior on a very good Milwaukee King squad. Showing some very good playmaking ability in the open floor, Bradley turned some heads in the open floor. Bradley has a nice package around the rim with outstanding footwork to maneuver around defenders. He hit teams with sharp, creative passing that led to easy buckets. The 6-foot-1 guard can play on or off the ball. Currently unranked, Bradley ensured that he’ll make an appearance in the next update in August.
Victor Desmond Victor Desmond 6'6" | SF Onalaska | 2021 State WI – 2021 – SF – Wisconsin Playground Club
Desmond continues to make positive strides and get more and more comfortable in high-level games. This was a kid, who last year, wasn’t seeing minutes for PGC in their tightly contested ball games. It helps that Desmond seems to have had a great off-season in the weight room and has sprouted to 6-foot-6, but he’s also getting more aggressive, particularly around the rim. Desmond has always shown some terrific flashes and has Division 1 measurables. It’s time for Division 2 programs to be jumping in here at a high rate. A prospect with a low floor, Desmond — at the very least — provides a defensive, rebounding, and slashing presence, but also could take off at the next level.
Ethan Heck Ethan Heck 6'5" | SG West Depere | 2023 State WI – 2023 – SG – Wisconsin Crusaders
Think Heck has a chance to be one of the better shot makers in the 2023 class. He’s already 6-foot-3 and has length that makes you think he may end up being around 6-foot-5 or bigger. With his strong positional size, Heck looked really good rising and firing over defenders. He’s confident as a shooter off the catch or off the dribble and never really changed his approach regardless of how he was defended.
Ashton Janowski Ashton Janowski 6'1" | CG Pewaukee | 2022 State WI – 2022 – PG – JH1 Elite
After the weekend, I think Janowski has earned a spot in the top 10 or just on the brink. Getting to see the Pewaukee standout against D1 Minnesota, Janowski maybe didn’t turn any heads, but certainly held his own and did some damage against a backcourt that’s extremely disruptive defensively and that I’ve personally seen destroy some good teams this summer. A nice mid-major prospect, Janowski is so intriguing for his ability to be a true floor general, but also score at a high-level. He’s so crafty with the basketball, can probe in traffic, and has maybe the best pull-up game in the state among class of 2022 prospects.

A.J. Lieuwen A.J. Lieuwen 6'0" | CG Bay Port | 2023 State WI – 2023 – G – Team 1848
Lieuwen came up big defensively for Team 1848 in their 15U title game victory. Facing a top 10 prospect, Lieuwen made the opposition work for everything he got and made things very tough. Offensively, Lieuwen plays with very good pace. He’s deceptive athletically with his ability to fly in the open floor, slice to the bucket, and hang and finish in traffic. When his shot is falling, Lieuwen can explode offensively. A very decisive scorer, Lieuwen doesn’t waste dribbles or dance with the basketball. It’s one or two dribbles with a purpose and he’s into his rhythm.
Daniel Robinson Daniel Robinson 6'2" | CG Waukesha South | 2023 State WI – 2023 – G – Milwaukee Sharks
Robinson was very impressive while playing up in 16U. An athletic, high-motor guard with some flash on the ball, Robinson is kind of comparable to his older brother, Marshawn, a top 20 prospect in the 2022 class. Robinson has terrific burst in the open floor and in the half court. He finished off a lot of acrobatic shots at the rim. Robinson dishes it really well and can thread the needle. Defensively, he gets after people, hunts turnovers, and isn’t afraid to get on the floor for loose balls.

Kade Van Asten Kade Van Asten 6'4" | SF Little Chute | 2022 State WI – 2022 – SF – Wisconsin Blizzard
Van Asten ended Sunday on a high note, including a 19-point performance in the 16U title game. A two-way player, Van Asten had some big plays on both ends of the floor on Sunday. Defensively, he just got in people’s way and was a disruptor, especially around the rim. When his teammates were beaten off the dribble, Van Asten was there to block or alter the shot. The 6-foot-5 junior also battled and won a lot of contested rebounds. Offensively, Van Asten is a prototypical swingman who will slash and knock down his open 3’s within the flow of the offense.
