2021: Big Shots Rock the Rock – Part 1

<p>The Big Shots Rock the Rock had no shortage of talent this past weekend at the Rock Hill Sports &amp; Event Center. The event featured over 140 teams in all age groups. Prep Hoops takes a look at some players from the 2021 Palmetto State Class in this article. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840185" first="RJ" last="Felton"] - Aiken HS - Big Shots Elite SC - 17U Premier (pictured on the front)</strong></p> <p>Felton was very good all weekend long his squad. Felton really attacked the basket and created scoring opportunities for himself on the  floor by hitting jumpers, grabbing a rebound or causing havoc in the back court. Felton plays the game with a good motor and is always in the attack phase it seems. Rice a William &amp; Mary recruit can really run the show by distributing the ball to teammates or knocking down shots on the perimeter. Rice really sets up his teammates well with his very efficient passing. Rice plays the game so under control and poised on the floor at all times. Hamrick plays his game away from the basket and has a great wingspan. Hamrick likes to handle the rock at times on the wing and was great in the passing lanes with his length. Hamrick showed to be a quick leaper and also knockdown some mid-range jumpers during the day. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="644832" first="Colin" last="Rodrigues"] - North Augusta HS - Big Shots Elite SC - 17U Premier </strong></p> <p>Rodriques has been quite the journeyman this summer on the Grassroots Circuit. Rodrigues played last weekend with the WV MPACT down in Big Shots Charleston. Rodrigues who holds a UNC-Wilmington offer showed up a bit late in the opening round game vs the WV Togs. Boykin a high energy kid plays the game with a constant motor from end to end on the floor. Boykin rebounds the ball very well from his position and isn’t afraid to get on the floor for a loose ball. </p>
