This tournament was a fantastic showcase of all of the talent in the area, many of which will receive a major uptick in recruiting! Be on the lookout for the rest of my coverage from this event!
Max Hrdlicka Max Hrdlicka 6'6" | SF Glynn Academy | 2021 State GA 2021 6’6 Atlanta Timberwolves White 17U- Glynn Academy
Max is a quick wing with excellent ball skills and great leaping ability. He is able to play above the rim for some impressive finishes. He has great good control of his body in the air and showed an ability to adjust his shot with double pumps and changing his angle in midair. He displayed great strength to finish through contact, especially when matched up with smaller defenders.
Jaeden Marshall Jaeden Marshall 6'3" | CG Richmond Hill | 2021 State GA 2021 6’3 Atlanta Celtics South- Richmond Hill High School
Jaeden is a skillful wing with a range of moves that allow him to do whatever he wants on the court. He is so comfortable and confident in his game it seems like he is out there trying out new passes and moves to get by defenders. He had many passes that he would wrap around a defender or intelligent touch passes to his bigs and even shooters in the corner. He is great at hanging in the air and firing crisp passes out, even on his way down.
Graham Martin 2021 6’4 Auburn Raptors 17U- Roanoke High School
Graham is an athletic wing who loves to get up and down the court. The agile player is jaw-dropping in the air as he goes up to finish strong at the rim or deter shots on defense. His strong legs and athleticism allow him to get high up in the air to sky for rebounds and turn them into easy looks on the other end. His ability to get up and down the court with a live dribble was impressive, as he turned many defensive boards into instant offense on the other end.
Kyle Duncan Kyle Duncan 6'4" | CG Centennial | 2021 State GA 2021 6’5 Hype Hawks 2021- Centennial High School
Kyle is a heads up player who uses his frame very well to get around defenders and finish at the rim. He moves well for his size and has the agility and footwork to finish at the rim after displaying some fancy euro steps. He plays with a great sense of where the ball is going to go especially off of rebounds and on the defensive side of the ball. I was really impressed with his ability to grab boards and then get out and run in the open court after. He made good decisions on the fast break when he had the ball and seemed to finish with ease.
Chris Lengyel 2021 6’3 Atlanta Timberwolves Green 17U- Southside High School
Chris is a creative player who is great at finishing around the rim and creating for his teammates. His ball-handling ability and touch on his passes stood out all weekend long. He showed great ability to get by his defenders and make the right read after drawing in the defense.
