2023 6-3 W Mason Etter Mason Etter 6'5" | SF Etowah | 2023 State GA – Atlanta All-Stars – Etowah
Mr. Hustle or Mr. Fundamental, the latest Etter to play the game the right way is Mason. He had 15 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in a 55-52 win over NME. Etter exceled in the high post and made smart decisions. He hit one dribble pull ups and short shots in the lane. Regarded as a better pure shooter than brother Jaxon (UGA), Etter is expected to carry the Eagles the next three seasons.
2021 6-5 SG Logan Turner Logan Turner 6'5" | SG Centennial | 2021 State GA – Aim High – Centennial
The springy shooting guard hit some shots from the perimeter against AC Georgia, nailing two threes and finishing with 14 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Against NME, Turner took on more of a playmaking role, posting 4 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Turner, an electric athlete, hurt teams throughout the week with his quick first step and explosion to the basket. He’s been on High Major radars for years now. It will be interesting to see what type of senior season he can put together and if he can bring his game to another level.
2021 6-4 G Kasheem Grady – Aim High – Decatur
Though his numbers didn’t jump off the page, there’s still intrigue around Kasheem Grady. A long guard with nice height, Grady showed flashes of being an exceptional playmaker. On a team loaded with potent guards, Grady fit in where he could and made some plays off the bounce to get teammates clean looks. He canned a trey ball in one of his lone looks from the perimeter. Grady seems like a guard that can slice and dice into the lane and could be an effective perimeter defender. He is a sneaky good sleeper to keep an eye on his senior season.
2021 6-5 Bobby Moore Bobby Moore 6'5" | SF McEachern | 2021 State GA – NME – McEachern
Bulldozer Bobby put up big numbers again. Over two games he averaged 21 points and 4.5 rebounds. Moore is one of the more talented players in the state with his blend of strength, skill and athleticism. Sometimes he can put the blinders on and get out of control with his shot selection, but if he’s able to focus and fit into a system for a full 32 minutes, he’s one of the toughest covers in the state. He hit four threes and went 10-13 from the foul line.
2022 6-6 W Josh Reed Josh Reed 6'6" | SF Pace Academy | 2022 State #200 Nation GA – AC Georgia – Pace Academy
Josh Reed Josh Reed 6'6" | SF Pace Academy | 2022 State #200 Nation GA looked good, especially in the second half vs. Aim High. The long lefty is more mobile than I last saw him and looked comfortable attacking with the ball instead of settling on the perimeter for jumpers. He had a nice fluid eurostep that got him a pretty hoop. Reed gets up and down the floor and can score inside and out. He’s still a very good shooter and has combo forward capabilities, able to stretch the court. He posted 15 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block.
