<p>Group 3 has been an intriguing as it filled with numerous talented players and teams. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900333" first="Rafael" last="Castro"] </strong>has been one of New Jersey’s hottest prospects since the end of the season, while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900309" first="Christian" last="Cevis"] </strong>has established himself as one of the lead guards. They are not the only talented players residing in Group 3 as it is filled with prospects who can compete at the next level. Here are the top Under the Radar prospects from Group 3.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900362" first="Daniel" last="Boateng"], 6’6 SF Woodbridge 2021</strong></p>
<p>The Barons may have had a long 2019-20 season, but that does not take away from Boateng’s ability. The 6’6 point forward routinely brings the ball up the floor and is in charge of running the offense. Boateng has a good handle and knows how to draw contact around the basket. He can knock down jumpers from behind the arc and is a solid rebounder. Boateng is a skilled forward who is ready to lead Woodbridge in 2020-21.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900377" first="Jack" last="Levy"], 6’3 SG Ramapo 2021</strong></p>
<p>The Raiders have won the last two North Jersey 1 Group 3 titles, but they have to replace Gettysburg commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850364" first="Max" last="Pernetti"]</strong>. Levy came off the bench, but is ready for a bigger role in 2020-21. The 6’3 guard is a good shooter with a nice shooting form and a good release. Levy is a solid passer and plays hard on the defensive end. Ramapo needs Levy to up his scoring game if the Raiders want to win their third straight sectional title.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="901981" first="Colin" last="Ackerman"], 6’0 PG Wall 2022</strong></p>
<p>The Crimson Knights have been one of the top teams in Group 3 over the past two seasons, but they have to replace two-time All-Group 3 member <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="896620" first="Quinn" last="Calabrese"]</strong>. Ackerman paced the offense for Wall last season, but is ready for a larger scoring role. The 6’0 guard attacks the basket hard and knows how to finish through contact. Ackerman has a good handle and makes plays when he gets into the lane. Wall will be looking to win its third straight sectional title with Ackerman returning in the backcourt.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="933645" first="Brandon" last="Raba"], 6’2 SG Nottingham 2021</strong></p>
<p>The Northstars made the Mercer County Tournament final and they should be in contention to make it again with Raba returning. The 6’2 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he can finish around the basket and knows how to draw contact. Raba plays with extreme confidence and is unafraid of taking jumpers in transition. He is a solid rebounder and an underrated passer. Raba is a talented play-maker who is looking to lead Nottingham deep into the Central Jersey Group 3 Tournament.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="929527" first="Kyle" last="Rolon"], 6’3 SG Somerville 2021</strong></p>
<p>Somerville was upset in the Central Jersey Group 3 quarterfinals, but Rolon returns to lead the Hilltoppers. The 6’3 guard has a pure shooting stroke as he wastes no motion in his shot. Rolon is more than just a shooter as he has a good handle and knows how to finish around the basket. He is a tough defender and is an underrated passer. Somerville is looking for a deeper run in the state tournament with Rolon back to lead the offense.</p>
