Jaxon Brown | 5’11 Guard | Renegades Elite-Cryer
Brown paced his squad all the way to the Gold Title game where he posted 18 points to cap off their weekend unbeaten. He’s a shifty guard that can create in space off the dribble and is a solid option off the ball as well. He put up 12.5 ppg at the Big Shots Carolina Finale.
Dre Prince | 6’0 Guard | Renegades Elite-Cryer
Prince was another standout performer on Renegades Elite in the 16U division. He produced 12.0 ppg while showing off his ability to shoot the 3-ball and get to the free throw line. He’s a sleeper prospect to keep an eye on in North Carolina.
Kevin Kernan | 5’11 Guard | Flight 22 Wilmington
Kernan finished at the top of the 16U Division once again in 3-pointers made with seven, good for a tie for third in the division. He’s an emerging sharpshooter in the 2022 class that continues to impress at events on the grassroots scene and definitely worth a look.
Tychaun Clay Tychaun Clay 5'10" | PG Hunt | 2022 NC | 5’11 Guard | Crusaders Basketball
Clay played an age group above his with Crusaders Basketball and showed he belonged, averaging 15.3 ppg. He went off for 27 points and three made 3-pointers against Big Shots Elite WV, showing he has potential to fill it up in a hurry. He’s definitely a player to track early.
Khouri Carvey | 6’7 Forward | Crusaders Basketball
Carvey played up on the 17U division and didn’t disappoint, showing off his size at 6-foot-7 and ability to make an impact in the paint on both ends averaging 10.0 ppg. He’s a prospect that can get to the rim and finish with authority and create on the perimeter as well. He’s a name to get to know in North Carolina.
Keon Webb | 6’0 Guard | Team Hoop State
Webb was the unsung leader at the guard spot for Team Hoop State on the 15U division all weekend long, producing 11.0 ppg and finished fifth in the division in total points. He’s a strong combo guard that gets after it on both ends.
Deavion Wimbly | 6’0 Guard | Team Hoop State
Wimbly complemented Keon Webb well in the backcourt for Team Hoop State, averaging 12.0 ppg and showing off his ability to share the ball with another strong scoring guard. He’s an up-and-coming guard to keep eyes on in the class.
Shawn Sheridan | 6’4 Guard/Wing | Team Hoop State
Sheridan’s versatility stood out more than anything at the Big Shots Carolina Finale. He’s got the ability to play inside and out and is developing quite the athletic burst on the hardwood. He showed flashes of his potential this past weekend and is another prospect for Team Hoop State to keep an eye on.
