Prep Hoops took in the action on Day 1 from the Big Shots Carolina Finale on Saturday from North Charleston, SC. Lets see what 2022 Palmetto State players stood out while we in attendance.

[player_tooltip player_id="837326" first="Heston" last="Foster"] - Northwood Academy - Carolina Ballin

Foster played well for his Carolina Ballin team. Foster won’t overwhelm you with athleticism but he does know how to score the ball. Foster must still work on the defensive end of game. Foster can play inside-out and feels comfortable knocking down a mid-range jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id="930616" first="Kidd" last="Brizek"] - Legacy Early College - Big Shots Elite Tri-Cities

Brizek has really grown a few inches in the past year. Brizek will play next season for the Lions after playing at nearby Powdersville HS. Brizek a rangy forward can play a big wing position and at times today looked to post up. Brizek is a deceptive athlete and really has a good nose for the ball. Brizek generally plays with Team South Carolina on the Grassroots Circuit. Team South Carolina has yet to play during this spring or summer.

[player_tooltip player_id="930611" first="Javari" last="Stephens"] - Summerville HS - Rock Nation Impact 2022

Stephens wants to score the ball whenever he gets the chance. Stephens was able to connect on some floaters in the paint and really likes to slash to the basket. Stephens seems to excel in the transition game.

[player_tooltip player_id="976985" first="Jeremiah" last="Harris"] - Airport HS - Soda City Spartans (pictured on the front)

Harris 6’4 is a rangy wiry wing player. Harris was very active in the passing lanes with length to pickup some deflections. Harris extended the defense with some made three pointers throughout the day. Harris still must get stronger to finish on contact at times.
