<p>Who are the best talents in 3AA basketball? We give you ten names to keep an eye on, especially that 2022 group of 3AA players. </p>
<p><strong>The Stars</strong>. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="774773" first="Corbin" last="Froelich"]</strong> of Paynesville Area (2021) and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850706" first="Jackson" last="Loge"]</strong> of Morris Area (2022) are the top talents in this group. Froelich is a bidding potential division two, top 50 level player in the upcoming senior class. Then you have Loge who is as skilled a low post player as you will find with a golden touch and the numbers to back being a top 15-20 player in his class. Loge averaged 21.3 points and 12.8 rebounds a game facing a constant a double team all winter. Froelich had to play a lot of point guard this year but he still put up 21.6 points, 6.8 boards, and a couple steals per game. Showed college level three-point range. </p>
<p><strong>Six More Seniors to Know</strong>. In addition to Froelich, here are five more seniors that could have a massive senior year and find their way on to a quality college roster. </p>

<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957211" first="Peyton" last="Johnsrud"]</strong> of Minnewaska Area – Peyton is about a 6-foot-2 shooting guard that mixed well with a balanced line-up that won 21 games. The Minnewaska kids are always well coached with solid skill and Peyton showed that scoring 14-15 a game last winter. </li>
<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957638" first="Ben" last="Peterson"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="774829" first="Cole" last="Hedman"]</strong> of Benson – Peterson and Hedman are a backcourt pair that both scored about 18 points a game. Hedman had a game where he made eight threes last season and both are consistent playmaking threats. Benson is a 20 game winner next year with four starters back and the Peterson/Hedman combo will lead the way. </li>
<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957216" first="Dawson" last="Kellen"]</strong> of Pipestone Area – Dawson scored 19 points a game last winter showcasing a shooting touch in various ways - baby hook, shoulder turn aggressive finish, face-up jumper, some threes as well - at 6-foot-6 and 205 pounds. One of the better outstate senior bigs. </li>
<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957612" first="Logan" last="Carlson"]</strong> of St James – Carlson had the dual role of playmaking for others, but also needing to lead his team in scoring with 18 points a game. A 5-foot-11 guard that paired nicely with [player_tooltip player_id="958664" first="Hayden" last="Jones"]. </li>
<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="774840" first="Connor" last="Josephson"]</strong> of Redwood Valley - Connor is a six foot do everything guard. It was quite common for Connor to have a double-double and just miss that triple double by a basket, or a couple assists, or one board. Connor is one of the best passers in this section. </li>

<p><strong>The Juniors</strong>. This is a very solid group of players that are likely to push their programs to new heights, or back to areas where their program belongs. </p>
<ul>
<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="958740" first="Durgin" last="Decker"]</strong> of Morris Area – The Tigers were a big group of seniors mixed with a solid core of sophomores this season. [player_tooltip player_id="850706" first="Jackson" last="Loge"] is the featured player but also developing this year was six foot guard [player_tooltip player_id="958740" first="Durgin" last="Decker"]. Decker scored 3-4 buckets a game last year and will step into the second option scoring role next season. </li>
<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="958705" first="Alex" last="Lang"]</strong> of Redwood Valley – The Cardinals of 2020-21 have a chance to be outstanding. Why? [player_tooltip player_id="774840" first="Connor" last="Josephson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="958705" first="Alex" last="Lang"] together in the backcourt is a big reasons. Lang took advantage of the chances his team creative for him and Alex scored 14 a game. </li>
<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="958733" first="Zach" last="Jorgensen"]</strong> of Fairmont – Zach is a top quarterback prospect in the 2022 class but at 6-foot-4 he is also an excellent wing prospect that scored a dozen points a game for the Cards. </li>
<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="958653" first="Tony" last="Nelson"]</strong> of TMB – At 6-foot-6, 230 pounds, [player_tooltip player_id="958653" first="Tony" last="Nelson"] scored 16-17 points a game and was the most productive sophomore player in the extended Marshall (MN) area. Used his sized to give his team a consistent eight baskets a night. </li>
<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="958664" first="Hayden" last="Jones"]</strong> of St James – Jones scored 18 points a contest playing off of [player_tooltip player_id="957612" first="Logan" last="Carlson"] as a standout pair. Jones and Carlson should push St. James to a .500 level next winter. </li>
<li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="958649" first="Carson" last="Woodford"]</strong> of Redwood Valley – There are two sure thing double-doubles in this section: [player_tooltip player_id="850706" first="Jackson" last="Loge"] and [player_tooltip player_id="958649" first="Carson" last="Woodford"]. Carson has become one of the better defensive rebounders out there using his 6-foot-6 frame to not only hold his spot but also board out of his spot. Scored 14 points a game for a balanced, up and coming squad. </li>
