Time to dive into our Region Ranking Series! In this series we will look at the best prospects from a specific area in the class of 2021! Here are our top Chicago West Suburbs Prospects in the rising senior class!

#1 [player_tooltip player_id="652088" first="John" last="Poulakidas"] (Neuqua Valley)

Poulakidas takes the top spot here because of his elite offensive skill set! The 6’5” wing among the top prospects in the state in the rising senior class. He showcased why as a junior with several absolutely monster performances including one going for 49 points. The lefty small forward saw every kind of defense all season long. Elite shooter with range to beyond the NBA line. One of the best pull up shooters we have seen in a while!

#2 [player_tooltip player_id="821735" first="Ben" last="Schwieger"] (Waubonsie Valley)

Schwieger is a right handed version of Poulakidas with a little better athleticism. He emerged over the last year breaking into the top 15 of the overall 2021 rankings and has been racking up offers all spring long! A big time volleyball prospect as well he is now focused on hoops and mid-majors are salivating! Feathery touch from three with developmental upside.

#3 [player_tooltip player_id="821734" first="Jaiden" last="Lee"] (Joliet West)

Lee is a sniper that isn’t getting quite the amount of attention we feel he deserves on the recruiting trail. Long and lanky shooting guard that is similar in some respects to former Curie star Dajuan Gordon. Best utilized as a three and D wing that can really hit from three. Shows flashes in other areas of his game.

#4 [player_tooltip player_id="821751" first="Kai" last="Evans"] (Bolingbrook)

Evans is a big and strong wing that brings physicality on the perimeter. He is so powerful and explosive when he gets a head of steam behind him going downhill. During his junior year Evans improved his overall skill level and is in prime position to take over as the go to guy for The Brook!

#5 [player_tooltip player_id="920948" first="Isaiah" last="Stafford"] (Bolingbrook)

Stafford will be right there with Evans as the key players for the Raiders. I like to call Stafford “mini Steph” as he is a baby faced assassin just like the two time MVP. Stafford is a plus shooter from three with a quick release. Can play both on and off the ball.

#6 [player_tooltip player_id="920951" first="Odin" last="Lium"] (Oswego East)

Lium didn’t get as much tick as we expected last year, but we are still fans of what he brings to the table as a long term prospect. Thin and wiry small forward is a plus shooter off the catch. Has an overall skill package that he brings to the table and was primed to explode on the radar this spring.

#7 [player_tooltip player_id="921009" first="Devon" last="Ellis"] (Conant)

Ellis is someone that jumped up this board after we reviewed some film from this past season. Big and physically built small forward that has game! Very powerful slasher getting to the rim in the open floor and bursting through the D in the half court. Also likes finishing in the lane with runners.

#8 [player_tooltip player_id="821741" first="Grant" last="Johnson"] (Naperville North)

Johnson fits the new age space four spot to perfection. He can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting. Has enough mobility to defend on the perimeter and also in the paint. Skilled face up four.

#9 [player_tooltip player_id="647237" first="Connor" last="Davis"] (Neuqua Valley)

Davis is a strong bodied wing that can shoot it from beyond the arc at a high clip hitting 45% as a junior. We also thought he made major strides as an all-around player this past year putting it on the deck, rebounding, and showing a toughness to his game.

#10 [player_tooltip player_id="920966" first="Tyler" last="Van Eekeren"] (Benet)

Van Eekeren is a three and D wing. The Benet standout is a plus shooter from three off the catch that stretches the defense with his perimeter stroke. Expect him to be a key part of an always good Benet squad.

#11 [player_tooltip player_id="920969" first="Kevin" last="Bozeman"] (Downers Grove North)

Bozeman is a bouncy four man that can play inside and out. Uses his quickness and athleticism in the paint to score. Knocks down spot up shots from the perimeter. Versatile enough to defend multiple spots.

#12 [player_tooltip player_id="995973" first="Robert" last="Roszkiewicz"] (Addison Trail)

This is a prospect that jumped on our radar with his junior tape. He is a 6’7” power forward who has bounce around the hoop. Can put it on the deck a little and is a quality spot up shooter.

#13 [player_tooltip player_id="920956" first="Luke" last="Moustakas"] (Brother Rice)

Moustakas is a skilled face up four man that is at his best spotting up for threes and playing in the pick and pop game.

#14 [player_tooltip player_id="995970" first="Jack" last="Mielke"] (Downers Grove North)

Mielke put together an impressive junior campaign that will see him fly up our next overall PHI 2021 rankings. Plus three point shooter from his power forward spot. Big time catch and shoot threat that also crashes the glass well.
