#21 – Jah Gulley | 5-10 PG | Lockhart
Gulley is a smooth operating floor-general for the Lions who has both deep-ranging shooting ability and can get to the basket with ease. A super quick point guard who knows how to use the pick-and-roll, Gulley knows when to penetrate the lane and has terrific vision when facilitating passes to his open teammates. He plays with a feisty edge on defense and is good at pick-pocketing opponents.
#22 – Preston Clark | 6-6 C | Austin Westlake
Clark is a solid post player who should see more playing time this upcoming season on one of the most talented high school rosters in Texas at Austin Westlake. Playing next to 2021 F KJ Adams KJ Adams 6'7" | PF Austin Westlake | 2021 State #69 Nation TX should allow Clark to breakout in Westlake’s offense as a key frontcourt role player. Clark is a high-effort forward/center who has good length and runs the floor well. He does a great job in the low post gobbling up rebounds and creating second-chance opportunities.
#23 – Mekai Coleman | 5-11 PG | Leander Rouse
Coleman averaged 5.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists during his sophomore season while hitting 36% from beyond-the-arc for the Raiders. Coleman showed off his scoring potential with five games of 10+ points, including an impressive 20 point performance in a tough loss to Pflugerville Weiss during district play. Coleman could be on the verge of a breakout junior campaign.
#24 – Ben Jones | 6-4 SF | Austin St. Stephen’s
A deep-range sharpshooter, Jones excels at catch-and-shoot threes and constantly hit open shots in both the corner and on the wing. Jones has a nice release and sets his feet quickly, and he also has the ability to create his own shot. Jones can play either shooting guard or small forward, and he is one of the top private school players to watch in the Southwest Prep Division (South District) this upcoming season.
#25 – Kaleb Lewis | 6-1 SF | Pflugerville Weiss
Lewis was a menace on defense during his sophomore season with the Wolves, racking up 36 steals over 27 games logged. Lewis averaged 7.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.3 steals per contest playing small forward for Weiss, but he also has the versatility to play the shooting guard position. Lewis plays with great intensity and effort on defense while showing good burst and cutting ability on offense and fast-break opportunities. Earned All-District 17-5A Second Team & Defensive MVP.
#26 – Carson King | 6-5 C | Round Rock Westwood
King became an integral part of Westwood’s deep playoff run down the stretch last season and provided a huge boost to the Warriors on both offense and defense. An athletic big who runs the floor well and has good movement skills in space, King does a terrific job in the paint as a rebounder and finisher at the rim. He also possesses good passing ability from the forward/center position and can hit shots in the mid-range and further out. Earned All-District 13-6A Honorable Mention.
#27 – TJ Jones | 6-1 SG | Pflugerville
Jones was a playmaker for Pflugerville this past season and he showed his versatility playing both guard and forward positions. On offense Jones is a sharpshooter from beyond-the-arc who does a good job in catch-and-shoot situations, hitting shots from both corners and wing spots. Jones was also an active player on defense creating multiple turnovers and steals. Earned All-District 17-5A Honorable Mention.
#28 – Christian Austin | 6-5 PF | San Marcos
Austin is a springy forward prospect who has great length and leaping ability. He was a terrific shot-blocker and defender this past season for the Rattlers, using his long wingspan and anticipation skills to disrupt opponent’s shots. Austin will be a player to watch moving forward on a young and talented San Marcos squad as he is just scratching the surface on offense and as a rebounder.
#29 – Matthew Turner | 6-7 C | Leander Glenn
A big-bodied post player with good rebounding and shot-blocking ability, Turner was rock solid down in the low post for the Grizzlies during his sophomore season. He has the ability to be a stretch-forward on offense as he can shoot and pass the ball well. With a lot of talent returning for Glenn this upcoming season, Turner will play a key role in the frontcourt for the Grizzlies as they make a run for the top team in District 25-5A.
#30 – Kaleb Bunker | 6-1 SG | Cedar Creek
Bunker enjoyed a breakout sophomore season for Cedar Creek averaging 10.2 points, 4.9 rebounds. and 1.2 steals per game. A three-level scorer with deep-range sharpshooting ability, Bunker will be a huge part of the Eagles offense moving forward. Bunker plays strong when going towards the rim and has a nice floater when in the lane. Plays good help-side defense and has active hands. Earned All-District 18-5A Second Team.
