Many players continue to grind during the off-season, and it has been paying off astronomically. Athletes across the state take a lot of pride in ensuring that they develop any way they can to garner the attention of college coaches, especially with how competitive the competition level continues to grow. It will be exciting to follow players as they continue to prove themselves when the lights come on.

[player_tooltip player_id="775751" first="Tyree" last="Gill"] (Burbank)

Gill is extremely athletic and confident in his game. A player who loves to compete and really plays with a high motor. Gill can really push the ball and loves to play above the rim on the offensive end. The lefty is a physical guard who is not afraid of contact and is crafty with his finishes around the rim. Gill has already proved to many that he can play against top talent and it will be exciting to see what he does during his final high school campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id="706320" first="Corey" last="Yerger"] (Grant)

The Pacer standout already currently holds two Division 1 offers and is hoping to capture the attention of more coaches. Yerger is a fearless 6-foot-2 combo guard who does not back down from anyone. A player who competes on both ends of the court and has great instinct for the game. Yerger has a quick first step, making him very difficult to keep in front. When he puts the ball on the floor, expect some high IQ plays to be made, as it will be a long night for the opposing team.

[player_tooltip player_id="958295" first="Sione" last="Lose"] (Capital Christian)

Lose is another guard who displays great athleticism. The 6-foot-4 junior a big-time player for the Cougars as they finished league undefeated with a 12-0 record. Lose loves to run the floor and is very dangerous in transition. A versatile player who has a great feel for the game and can see the play before it happens. Expect Lose to have a bigger role for the Cougars as he hopes to defend that league title and win state.

[player_tooltip player_id="963966" first="Chris" last="Holley"] (Jesuit)

Holley is a strong floor general who really sees the floor well. The shifty guard really knows how to create opportunities for others and can also create efficient shots for himself. Holley can flat out shoot the ball whether that’s off the dribble or catch and shoot. The guard has a quick release and has unlimited range. The 5-foot-11 junior scored nearly 13 points, dishing nearly 4 assists, grabbing 2 rebounds but also getting it done defensively with 1.1 steals for a solid Marauders squad.

[player_tooltip player_id="775799" first="Max" last="Petrenko"] (Placer)

One of the most skilled big man in the state, the 6-foot-6 junior has a great feel for the game. Petrenko is a double-double machine and will continue to be that threat during the summer circuit and during his senior season. A strong and physical player dominating the paint and boards. Petrenko is a proven winner and leader who continues to get better in all aspects of his game and will do anything needed for his team to be successful. Expect the big man to have recruited solidly by the end of his high school season.
