<p>The Minnesota Comets JL is yet another solid group of players at the 17u level. Here is their team preview as we soon enter the summer. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957236" first="Mason" last="Carlson"]</strong> of Virginia (Combo Guard 6’5). Averaging 15 points, six boards, and six assists Mason can play three guard spots and in high school he has the size to jump down to the four spot if needed. Carlson made nearly half of his shots this season and is an excellent passer. He will be a fill-in on this team. </p>
<p><strong>Daniel Cockcroft</strong> of Elk River (C 7’0). Daniel is one of only a few seven footers in the state and one of only a few players out there with a 3.9 grade point average. Played on the junior varsity last season and is working to be a factor in the rotation next year. </p>
<p><strong>Robert Feahn</strong> of Champlin Park (PG 5’10). Feahn led the Rebels JV to a solid winter and next year could step into the [player_tooltip player_id="549462" first="TJ" last="Moberg"] role, will handle for the Comets. </p>
<p><strong>Gus Hangsleben</strong> of Monticello (PF 6’3). Gus played the power forward role for the Magic setting screens and battling in the paint at about 235 pounds. Scored his 6-7 points a game making 65 percent of his attempts while grabbing 4-5 boards a contest. </p>
<p><strong>Darien Hoek</strong> of Champlin Park (SF 6’3). Another Rebels junior varsity player that is working to earn a varsity role. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="774875" first="Jayden" last="Lane"]</strong> of Park of Cottage Grove (SG 6’2). Lane was an all league honored player for the second time this year, only this season he led the Wolfpack in scoring at 15 points a game. Lane will be a go to option for the Comets. </p>
<p><strong>Brayden Lenzmeier</strong> of Sartell (PF 6’7). Brayden has size and he improved this winter on the Sartell junior varsity. Crafty talent with the dribble that can make plays on the move. </p>
<p><strong>Dawson Noska</strong> of STMA (SG 6’3). Dawson played JV for the Knights last winter and will add depth to the Comets JL backcourt. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957202" first="Tristan" last="Pekula"]</strong> of Royalton (6’7 C). Tristan totaled a double-double in over half his games this year averaging 12 points and nine boards a game while making a third of his treys despite often being the biggest player on the floor. Tristan will bring college coaches to the games curious to see what he can provide game to game. </p>
<p><strong>Ethan Spanier</strong> of Elk River (G 6’1). Another junior varsity player that will join the Comets JL squad. Spanier has some range and is a 3.93 grade point average student. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957608" first="Wyatt" last="Windhorst"]</strong> of Big Lake (SF 6’4). Wyatt is another player on this team that will really grab the attention of college coaches. He’s a 4.0 student in the classroom and one of the most improved players on the court in the junior college. Averaged 13 points and 8.5 boards a game showing off shooting range while scoring in active rebounders. One of the better rebounding wings you will see. </p>
