Lamar Washington Lamar Washington 6'4" | CG AZ Compass Prep | 2022 State #128 Nation AZ , Jefferson – Ranked #1
While his raw percentages may not necessarily be high, it would be a mistake to leave the 6-foot-4 wing open. The lefty has a quick release and deep range and there’s no question he can really get on a roll when he gets going.
Dallon Morgan Dallon Morgan 6'9" | PF Sprague | 2022 State OR , Sprague – Ranked #4
He’s in contention for being one of the top posts in the state but he is right now the best outside shooting big man. In fact it could be argued that Morgan enjoys spotting up for jumpers more than banging down low. He’s got a soft touch and nice form.
Kyle Hamnes Kyle Hamnes 5'10" | CG Century | 2022 OR , Century – Ranked #10
We have beem most impressed with the way Hamnes gets to the basket but the 5-foot-10 guard can knock them down from three too. Last season, he hit 21 threes at a 42 percent clip and he’ll get even more opportunities his junior year.
Aidan Slater Aidan Slater 6'1" | CG Central Catholic | 2022 State OR , Central Catholic – Ranked #12
Slater’s range is, as the proverbial saying goes, when he steps foot in the gym. The strong 6-foot-1 guard is practically automatic when he squares up and has his feet set. He’s effective in the catch-and-shoot or coming off of screens.
Christian Rowell Christian Rowell 6'7" | SF Lake Oswego | 2022 State OR , Mountainside – Ranked #14
He didn’t get a ton of time at the varsity level largely due to the depth of older players in the program, but Rowell could arguably have been one of Mountainside’s top shooters. The lefty has a silky smooth stroke out past the three-point line.
Zeke Viuhkola Zeke Viuhkola 6'1" | CG West Linn | 2022 State OR , West Linn – Ranked #24
Another sophomore who didn’t get a ton of time on a senior-dominated squad last season but who can certainly knock down open shots is Viuhkola. The coach’s son has nice form on his shot and he’ll have a bigger role for sure in 2020-21.
Antonio Jimenez Antonio Jimenez 6'1" | CG Roosevelt | 2022 State OR , Roosevelt – Ranked #39
Jimenez played JV this past season and it was because the Roughriders were loaded in the backcourt. But we’ve seen the 6-foot-1 in summer and fall league action and he can certainly stroke it from the perimeter.
