Top 10 high school D1 prospects

<p>Long island Lutheran better known as LUHI, is a premier program, not only in N Y, but in the country. 2019 they were ranked 9th by usatoday and 8th this year by ESPN.  Both years #1 in N Y. Going all over the country they have compiled a 95-15 record over the last 5 years. They have sent 15 players to D 1 programs. The 2019-20 team have 3 seniors who will be playing at Ohio State, Illinois,and Cal. Check out my “commitment” report on prephoops  to see the big 3 from Luhi. When a high school loses 3 players, it is rare, that they have 6 more ready to shine, with numerous D1 offers.</p> <p><strong>RYAN DUNN      6”5.  Jr (2021)    LUHI</strong></p> <p>A very good defender that uses his length to get his hands in the passing lanes. Can really shoot the ball.  Can drill it from three and also hit the mid range  jumper. Needs to build on his strength. College programs will be checking in,  because this player can knock down shots.</p> <p><strong>PAUL JORDAN.    6”6    JR ( 2021)    LUHI</strong></p> <p>Athletic forward who can really shoot the three. Runs the floor.  Has been working on his consistency and rebounding. But with his athleticism these phases of the game will come. D1 academic schools checking in . Bucknell and other Patriot league schools have shown interest.</p> <p><strong>KACPER KLACZEK    6”8    JR (2021)   LUHI</strong></p> <p>An elite level athlete who is a point forward type. Tremendous on the ball defender. He really drills the three. But can also mix it up and rebound. Has been working on his ball handling skills. Has interest from Stanford and Davidson. Has Offers from, Washington St., San Diego, Santa Barbara, Western Kentucky. Will have a bigger role in the coming season, so will see even more offers, come his way.</p> <p><strong>DRISSA TRAORE   6”9    JR (2021)    LUHI</strong></p> <p>A freak athlete. Tremendous shot blocker. Finishes around the rim. Is a real leader. Needs to improve on his lateral movement and his 3 point shooting. But his athleticism plus his rim protection makes him a valuable piece. A Hakeem Warwick type player. Has multiple offers. St Johns, Illinois, Stony Brook, Fordham, Umass, Marist, Manhattan.That will increase this coming summer.</p> <p><strong>JAYDEN REID   5”9   FR (2023)   LUHI</strong></p> <p>A tremendous 3 point shooter.  A high level athlete who is an excellent on the ball defender. At this young age he understands how important it is to defend. He also possesses a high IQ and combines that with his decision making. On a team with many D1 stars he stepped in as a freshman PG and blended right in. Plus everyday he practices against elite competition. An unbelievable talent who will only get better and is already really good. Has a lot of college interest which will drastically increase this year. College programs should get on him really early.</p> <p><strong>RAFAEL ANDRES PINZON    6”6   JR (2021)   LUHI</strong></p> <p>Can score at all 3 levels. He is very crafty around the rim. Drills the three. Is a coach on the floor with his leadership. At 6”6 he is a point guard who directs the team. Has a high basketball IQ.  Really good on the ball. Looking to improve on his athleticism. Has plenty of interest. St Johns, South Carolina, Georgia and Louisville. Has received offers from,  Xavier, Mercer, Georgia Tech, Dayton and Illinois.
