1) BRYSON WILSON | MARET | OVERALL RANK: #11
Wilson certainly jumped off the page at times throughout his impressive freshman campaign. He’s a very good athlete who plays with high energy which currently translates best on the boards. Wilson is also a crafty scorer with some wiggle off the bounce. He’s a bonafide putback and lob threat who is also a strong defender at the point of attack.
2) MALIK BOWMAN | BISHOP WALSH | OVERALL RANK: #16
Versatility is Bowman’s biggest asset in the long-term. He’s a 6-foot-7 forward with length, which helps him rebound in or out of his area. Bowman moves well laterally which helps him defend all over the court. He’s a lob threat who can also stretch the floor from the perimeter.
3) ANTONIO AVERY | GOOD COUNSEL | OVERALL RANK: #20
Avery had a solid freshman season in which he emerged as a key contributor to his team. He is an energetic forward with good size who runs the floor with purpose and absolutely feasts on the offensive boards. Avery showcases nice touch from the foul line and can space the floor in open play.
4) THOMAS BATTIES | GONZAGA | OVERALL RANK: #24
Batties is a lanky combo-forward who is a threat to shoot from the outside. He also makes smart plays with the ball in his hands and is a savvy team defender. Batties has intriguing physical attributes. He’s highly coordinated, which helps make him an above-average shot-blocker and has strong hands, which help him rebound the ball in traffic.
5) TIERON VICK | FAIRMONT HEIGHTS | OVERALL RANK: #36
Vick is a rangy, sturdily-built forward who is an outstanding athlete. He is a strong area rebounder and solid team defender. Vick was an immediate impact player during his freshman year and has a promising future.
