The Minneapolis City Conference was controlled by the North Polars while Southwest took a step forward and Henry was the only other team with a winning record. Here is our Minneapolis City Conference Review.

The Review

At the Top – The North Polars were once again the kings of the league. A 12-0 record and a 21-8 record overall this year playing a tough schedule. Sucks that we didn’t get a chance to see what is still somewhat of a young team make a run in March while they were playing their best.

The Surprise – Southwest was my surprise. They didn’t win as many league games in the league as I expected them to but they had good out of league wins because they were a deeper team than they’ve been. Why? A good sophomore group added depth to the roster.

What Happened? – People will asked "what happened to Edison" but actually they played solid basketball again this year, they just faced a much tougher non-league schedule so the out of league record wasn’t as good as it was in 2018-19.
