NorCal has a large number of next level players from the Greater Bay Area. Here’s a list of unsigned Seniors who made significant contributions to the success of their teams this season. All received post season awards for their play.

[player_tooltip player_id="949861" first="Quinn" last="Denker"] 6’3 point guard, Bellarmine Prep San Jose CA.

Denker has been a top performer for the Bells for the past two seasons leading the team in scoring and assists. He has all the tools to be a quality guard at the next level. He’s a leader on the court. He has command of the offensive sets. He’s a quality ball handler and efficient passer. His ability to keep bigs off balance on the drive is noticeable. A consistent shooter from mid-range out to the 3 pt line. He was CCS Player of the year, first team WCAL. He averaged 16.6 ppg, 3.4 rebounds, and 6.6 asts, 1.7 stls.

[player_tooltip player_id="949867" first="Anthony" last="Roy"] 6’4 wing, Dublin HS. Dublin CA.

A breakout season for Roy. He stepped up his focus and intensity and led Dublin to the CIF, NorCal Semi-Final Open. He was named player of the year in the EBAL. He averaged 17.8 ppg with 5.4 rebs. He blossomed playing out on the wings, with his quickness and ability to score off the dribble drive, and a consistent shot from the 3 pt line.

[player_tooltip player_id="533739" first="Dishon" last="Jackson"] 6’10 Power Forward, St. Pats-St. Vin. Vallejo CA.

The tallest big man in NorCal is still available. Jackson averages 13.8 ppg, 9.5 rebs, and 2.9 blks. He has a frame that’s going to add bulk. He has a solid game, 15ft and in. He has a good jumper in the key and a hard to block jump hook. He gets up and down the court well for a big, and gives good effort when he’s on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id="603829" first="Te’Jon" last="Sawyer"] Power Forward, Salesian Prep. Richmond CA.

Sawyer probably has made the most improvement of any player in the area. He’s raised his game across the board. His movement is much improved. He’s a big body with good hands, he has good touch around the basket. He’s a discipline player that plays to his strengths. He was very difficult to guard one on one in the paint. He’s developed a decent shot from 3. He roams the paint on defense. He averaged 13.6 ppgand 6.5 rebs.

[player_tooltip player_id="952796" first="Marcus" last="Greene"] 6’3 combo Guard, Archbishop Mitty. San Jose CA.

He was a calming influence on the court for the Monarch’s all season. A player you can rely on when things got tough. The athletic guard was always be in the flow of the game. He averaged 11.6 ppg and 4.6 rebs. He sometimes makes it look effortless, but he can turn a game with his talent. He has deceptive quickness he uses to get his shot, whether it’s mid-range or blowing by defenders, if you slack off too much on the 3 he’ll make you pay.. He’s player that can defend both guard spots.

[player_tooltip player_id="952893" first="Ian" last="Elam"] 6’6 Forward, Bellarmine. San Jose CA.

If you want to label Elam a glue guy, I would say he’s that and more. He was a very productive inside/out player for the Bells. He hit big shots in big games. He’s underrated as a shooter from 3, and he was a steady performer in and around the basket, often coming up with big baskets, and rebounds. He’s a first team WCAL, who averaged 12 ppg, 3.6 rebs.

[player_tooltip player_id="952426" first="Mahmoud" last="Fofana"] 6’5 Wing, Santa Teresa, San Jose CA.

Fofana racked up the MVP in the Blossom Valley League by producing eye opening stats. He averaged 22.8 ppg, 14.5 rebs, and 5.9 blks. Those are impressive numbers in any league. He’s a wiry bouncy wing that excels in the open court. He rebounds and leads the break, or he’ll be hard to contain out in transition. He’ll be a nice cutter and slasher at the next level. He has a good second jump that leads to rebounds and points.

Devon Jackson 6’1 Guard, Dublin HS, Dublin CA.

He seems like a newcomer but he’s not. Jackson put it all together this season. The athletic guard had to be accounted for while on the court. He’s a hard to guard player in the open court. He’s a slasher often found by his teammates on cuts to the basket. He can get his shot off in the key over bigger defenders. 9.7ppg, 3.5 rebs

Brah’Jon Thompson 5’10, Guard, James Logan, Union City CA.

Thompson returned to a team that went to the state finals last year. He was named MVP of the Mission Valley Athletic League. He’s a scoring guard plays with a chip on his shoulder. He can score in many ways, from deep 3 pt range, or taking hard to the basket.
