John Parmeter Zapata 6’8 C North Tahoe 2020 california – JPZ is a small school product with big size. He has exceptional hands. Zapata can catch the basketball in traffic as well as any player I’ve seen on film. He is a pure post, only making 1 three on the season, but he has a nice touch and the ability to finish around the rim with either hand.
Jermal Pittman 6’0 SG Clovis East 2020 california – Just a player that makes plays. The only issue with Pittman is can he play the 2 at his size? He’s tough off dribble-drives and can beat defenders in 1 on 1 situation. Super lefty scorer that finds ways to change the scoreboard. He shoots it well enough that you have to play him close and he can manufacture points with steals and transition buckets.
Ignacio Camacho 6’8 PF Ribet 2020 california – Raw would be the best way to describe Camacho. He has some impressive tools, including good touch around the basket and the ability to rebound out of area. Originally from Guatemala, he just needs more time to develop his game. Put him in the correct program and he certainly has gem potential.
Ethan Sokolowski 6’1 PG Keystone 2020 ohio – Sokolowski can play. He has a good wiggle to his game, and he uses it to separate himself from defenders and split traps. Pure passer that can deliver on time and on target passes to players whether stationary or off the bounce. Another high academic guy that has a GPA over 4.0.
Juan Camargo 6’7 PF Provo 2021 utah – Super raw! Carmargo and his family have only been in the country for a little over a year. In that time he has picked up the game quite nicely. A terrific run and jump athlete who is willing to sprint the floor. Carmargo does not have a true skill set to hang his hat on currently, however, he competes and plays hard. Only a junior he is a player that coaches should definitely be taking a hard look at over the next year.
Jashawne Joseph 6’6 SF NFEI 2021 florida – I realize there are a lot of talented players in Florida, but come on. Joseph can flat out play. Good run and jump athlete with the ability to knock down 3’s, and defend 2-4. Probably overlooked with the depth of talent in his state but at the very least he should make the all airport team.
