Racine St. Catherines: This is yet another week where St. Catherines emerged unscathed. This week’s marquee win came against Dominican. Their defense held Alex Antetokounmpo in check all game, and on offense, a 41-point outburst from Tyrese Hunter allowed them to easily put away the second-best team in their conference.
Neenah: For the second consecutive season, Neenah is showing that they can heat it up when it matters. After losing to Kimberly earlier in the season, they trounced the FVA powerhouse on Tuesday, defeated an underrated Hortonville team on Friday, and Saturday, they picked up a late out-of-conference victory over Waukesha West.
Onalaska: This team has yet to lose to an in-state opponent this season (and, if it was going to happen, it probably would’ve been this week). They outlasted a nationally renowned La Crosse Central team for the second time this year, and on Saturday, came out victorious against one of Madison’s top teams in Sun Prairie.
Bay Port: The top Green Bay area team finished 3-0 this week, their marquee win coming on Saturday against Eau Claire North. They knocked off the non-conference opponent handily, winning 63-52 behind big minutes from their starting five.
Honorable Mentions:
Wauwatosa East: East put up a fight versus Brookfield Central but would ultimately fall to the top-ranked team in division one. However, they followed that up with a win over Menomonee Falls, inching back towards .500 ahead of their final game.
