Village Christian Junior Forward James Willis: He’s the type of player that you love to have on your squad as he does all the small things. Rebounding , blocking shots , defending and finishing inside the paint were all things we saw from him.
Northwood Temple Senior Forward Angel Dean: Brings a physicality to the court that his team needs. He works inside on both ends of the floor, coming up with rebounds and blocked shots.
Trinity Christian Senior Forward Travon Jackson: Smaller colleges that may be looking for a player that can come in and do the “dirty” work should give him a call. He doesn’t mind mixing it up inside the paint and does a nice job of coming up with rebounds and putbacks. Small JUCO programs should drop in to see him as he can play the Forward spot even though he may be smaller in height.
Trinity Christian Junior Forward/Center Robert Wright: Out of all the players that we saw throughout the tournament, he was one of the most physical players we saw. He plays the game like an old school post player, making moves with his back to the basket and not shying away from physicality. College programs that are looking for a player that can Rebounds, block shots and mix it up inside the paint will want to keep an eye on him.
Freedom Christian Senior Forward Aymeric Toussant: He didn’t have his best showing but showed some flashes of his potential without a doubt. One thing you can’t teach is height and he is a legit 6’9 that can play in the post or stretch the floor and shoot the trey.
Village Christian Senior Forward Josh Reid: He didn’t have his best showing in the Semifinals but stepped it up in the Championship game. He showed his ability to mix it up inside, as well as knock down some shots from deep.
