Kinston HS Senior Guard Isaac Parson: He’s one of those players that has been playing at a high level for a while now but schools have been slow to offer for some reason. He plays the game with an edge that we love and has a shiftiness that makes him a difficult player to defend. Mount Olive and WSSU both have extended offers with even more schools showing interesting.
Millbrook HS Junior Forward/Center Will Felton: One of the very few back to the basket bigs that you will see these days, he was outstanding throughout the tournament. Scoring, rebounding and blocking shots are all things that he does at a very high level and D1 programs that aren’t already tracking should be keeping a close eye on him.
Farmville Central Senior Guard Samage Teel: He came into the event with some offers and interest but really solidified himself as one of the top Unsigned Senior Guards in the state . His ability to score the ball at a high level and break down his defender allowed him to be successful at a high rate.
Word of God Senior Guard Chase Forte: He’s not one of the first names that you hear about when WOGCA is mentioned but he has fully shown why schools are recruiting him. Regardless of the matchup that he’s faced with, he doesn’t back down from a challenge and always plays with max effort. Schools like St. Augustine have already offered and we fully believe he could be an outstanding Guard on the D2 level.
Millbrook HS Junior Wing Eric Van Der Heijden: D1 schools were already tracking him prior to this event but he only helped his case with the way he performed. He’s a legit 6’9 that plays on the perimeter and put up solid numbers vs Farmville Central and Montverde averaging 16 Points & 6 Rebounds in those two games.
Leesville Road Junior Guard Chase Hakerem: Playing alongside a HM prospect in the backcourt, it’s easy for him to get overlooked in the hustle and bustle of it all. However he used this event to further his case as a solid prospect, giving the defensive effort needed but also producing on the offensive side of the ball.
