Both Georgetown and Richmond dished out an assistant for the WCAC contest. Below are three takeaways I have from the game.
Gonzaga Shoots Lights Out
One reason Steve Turners bunch was able to win by so much on Tuesday night is because of their three point shooting. The Purple Eagles shot lights out from deep finishing with 15 triples. It was a total team effort too, as multiple players hit more than two from deep. It was the best shooting effort I have seen from a team so far this year.
Devin Dinkins Shows Why He Is One Of The Best In 2022
The promising 2022 guard showed why he has a bright future ahead. Dinkins finished with 25 points and dished out four assists. 18 of those points came from three point land as he continues to show how elite of a shooter he is. His defense is also worth noting as he was part of a few steals and really knows how to sit down and stay in front of his defender. Dinkins continues to show why he is one of the best in the 2022 class.
2021 Kris King Shows Offensive Versatility
The 2021 junior wing showed some nice flashes on offense for Carroll. King finished with 16 points. He showed his ability to shoot the ball from different areas on the court and displayed some nice transition finishes. His versatility allows him to do multiple things while on offense.
