Key is a good shooter that has very good range. He has a smooth jumper that seems to find the bottom of the net. He also had the ability to attack the basket keeping his opponents on their toes as to what he is going to do next.
As the upcoming season approaches Key has been working to improve his game. He has been trying to improve his ball-handling and quickness the most. With his improvement in his ball handling and quickness he hopes to be able to create space from his defenders to get his shot off more.
Key’s recruiting has been going well. He is still in the early stages of recruiting, but he has been on a visit to Henderson State University. His main goal is that of many with sports and that is to make it big. He wants to play in the NBA and that is what he is planning to do for a career. He will look to have a big senior season to be able to draw more interest in his game to make that next step towards his main goal.
For the upcoming season Key wants to do what Tulsa Memorial is used to doing, winning.
“I want to accomplish winning at home, conference, regionals and making it to state,” said Key.
Key realizes it is not just about him to be able to win. His personal goal for this upcoming season is to be the best teammate on the floor. He wants to do the little things that win games like play good defense and not get beat on that side of the ball. He also does not want to lose site of what many do in the game. He wants to go out there and be able to have fun while playing.
