Trey Phipps | 2020 PG | Booker T. Washington
The king of the arch.
The Under Armour Association shooting champion.
The kid who scored 42 points in the State Championship last March.
Nobody at his position has higher expectations for his senior season than Oklahoma commit Trey Phipps. Luckily for the Hornets, the Booker T. Washington senior has been known to rise to the occasion. Heralded as one of the best 2020 shooters in the country, Phipps looks to cap off an historic career at Booker T. Washington with a stellar senior season.

Caden Hale | 2020 G | Metro Christian
Caden Hale, who has seen his game transform in the summer of 2019, has been one of the most intriguing all-around prospects in the Tulsa area. Hale can shoot the ball at a high efficiency and can knock down multiple shots per contest if you allow him to get spacing. Hale does some of his best work out-of-the-dribble and can strike at any time with the ball in hands.
Ian Sluice | 2021 SG | Metro Christian
Ian Sluice has been among the most impressive stock-risers in the 2019 summer, and his shooting was an integral part of his boost. The rising junior prospects has displayed time-after-time that he can knock down shots from anywhere on the floor, but that’s not all he can do. Complimentary to his shooting capabilities, Sluice is an elite ball-handler and can create scoring opportunities both for himself and for others. The verdict? Sluice is a dangerous character to leave unattended.
Hunter Hoggatt | 2020 SF | Sapulpa
One of the most seasoned prospects in the Tulsa area, Sapulpa’s Hunter Hoggatt has high expectations for his senior season. Hoggatt had an outstanding year in his junior season, establishing himself as one of the most talented spot-up shooters his class, especially coming up big in an opening-night win against Booker T. Washington where he knocked down three 3-pointers to help the ninth-ranked Chieftains get the edge over the eventual State Champions. Hoggatt’s role in the 2019-2020 season will be an interesting spectacle, as Sapulpa loses a few key athletes from the 2019 class.
Bryce Thompson | 2020 Combo | Booker T. Washington
Being at the top has its perks. Leave it to Bryce Thompson, who has spent his senior summer flirting with Division-I mainstays and vying for a spot with Team USA, to continue to establish his name among the Sooner State’s all-time royalty as he enters his senior season for the defending State Champion Booker T. Washington Hornets. It seems like Thompson always has a few trips up-his-sleeve with the rock in his hands, but shooting is perhaps the most intriguing part of his game. With his list narrowed down to seven schools — Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, North Carolina, Michigan State, Kansas, Texas and Arkansas — watching Thompson let the ball fly will be a good placeholder as we await the spectacle of his commitment.

Eli Wallace | 2021 PG | Bishop Kelley
Eli Wallace had an outstanding summer, notching himself among the ranks of impressive shooting talents in the Oklahoma junior class. Wallace can hit big-time shots from the dribble and is a highly-confident player with the ball in his hands. Wallace is not afraid of the task of knocking down deep shots, either, and he can burn defenses by stretching the half-court.
Trent Ellison | 2021 Combo | Owasso
Trent Ellison is primed for a fantastic junior season at Owasso. The young shooting prospect had a great summer, especially during team camps. Ellison has proved that he is an elite shooter by-the-dribble and by-the-catch, and he shoots the ball efficiently in the process. Ellison will likely take-on the responsibility of a great share of his team’s outside shot attempts, so don’t be surprised when you see his name in the headlines for stellar shooting nights this season.
George McCurdy | 2021 PG | Broken Arrow
Broken Arrow prospect George McCurdy is somewhat of a dark-horse, but don’t count him out as one of the best shooters in the 918 Area Code. McCurdy, a talented floor general, has found a new strength to his game in his shot-making abilities, especially in catch-and-shoot scenarios. He has a smooth stroke and commands attention when he is off-ball. McCurdy can still create his own shot, as well, and could potentially be one of the standouts of the 2019-2020 season, hitting multiple shots per-contest.

Jake Gendron | 2021 SF | Bishop Kelley
Bishop Kelley will rely heavily on the shooting efficiency of senior Jake Gendron, who emerged in the 2019 Summer as a very competent scorer from the perimeter. Gendron can deal damage to opposing defenses with his accuracy and high-percentage shooting, leading teams to dedicate tough on-ball defenders to Gendron and freeing his teammates for more opportunities.
Caison Hartloff | 2021 W | Claremore
Caison Hartloff has showcased absurd knock-down abilities, finding his rhythm from isolated spots on the floor and burning defenses for 9, 12 or even 15 points in a quarter. Hartloff has one of the smoothest shots you’ll see in the gym, and it isn’t uncommon for the lanky junior to bring crowds to a fever pitch with his deep strikes from distance.
Anthony Pritchard | 2020 PG | Tulsa Webster
Webster senior Anthony Pritchard is an elite, elite shooter and has been heralded by some as one of the top shooters in the state. Pritchard has a consistent stroke and all of the confidence in the gym to knock down shots, even with contest. Pritchard has been among the rising stars in the Tulsa-metropolis since his sophomore season, but now the Stephen Curry impersonator has the eyes of the city upon the No. 30 on his back.
Kavon Key | 2020 W | Tulsa Memorial (pictured middle)
The defending State Champion himself, Kavon Key, returns for his senior season at Memorial with high expectations. Key had a stellar summer shooting from beyond the perimeter to further solidify what he proved in his junior season: Key is among the best shooting talents you will see in the gym. Key, especially when shooting from either corner, will knock down a high percentage of shots and releases the ball swiftly to avoid contest.
Elliot Andrew | 2021 W | Holland Hall
You can count on Holland Hall junior Elliot Andrew to knock down three, four or even more shots in any contest. At five-foot-10-inches, Andrew may not have all the physical stature on the floor, but his game packs a big enough punch to justify his spot on the floor, night-in, night-out. Andrew had an impressive summer with Tulsa Hawks, and he always could be counted-on to bury a few shots each game.
Luke Hasz (Left) & Parker Friedrichsen (Right) | 2023 Bixby point guard(s)
Bixby freshmen Luke Hasz and Parker Friedrichsen stand out as two of the most impressive shooters in the incoming freshman class – and in the entire Tulsa area. Both spent the 2019 Summer torching the opposing competition with elite sharpshooting; trading shots with one another and putting defenders in a daze. Both showed up to the Top 250 Expo in September and had big days shooting the ball in their own respects. Hasz’s style is quick and electrifying from the catch, while Friedrichsen likes to put the ball on the floor and pull-up from deep. The green duo could have a big impact in their inaugural season for the Spartans.
Conner Davis | 2020 SG | Oologah
Conner Davis could be a big-time breakthrough athlete in his senior season at Oologah. Davis doesn’t get much praise, but his talent isn’t one to be taken for granted. Davis is bound to net a high volume of shots at a high percentage, and his sharp release is a burden to defend.
