I’m going to start listing which prospects should be on your radar this upcoming season! I will be listing them in tiers: Top, Middle, and under the Radar. Today, we’ll be covering the under the radar prospects in 2020 and 2021. These prospects are that I could see going low end D1-D2.

Dominic Gonzalez 6'3 2020 G Ironwood

Gonzalez is one of the best scorers in the state and it's crazy to think this kid doesn't have an offer yet. I think he could definitely play at a low end D1, but I think his game is best suited for D2. I see him being an absolute stud for any D2 in the country. Be sure to check him out this season. I think he will have a break out season where he averages 20-25 points per game.

Logan Phillips 6'7 2020 F Valley Christian

Phillips has one D1 offer right now, from Incarnate Word. I think Phillips is in the same boat at Gonzalez, being good enough for low end D1. However, I think he will thrive at the D2 level. Phillips is quickly improving and has somehow gotten taller and more athletic. Keep close tabs on this guy!

Ricardo Sarmiento 5'10 2021 G Cesar Chavez

Sarmiento is one of the best play making guards in state, in my opinion. He reads the floor so well! It was shocking to me that he recently received his first offer from a JUCO. I think Sarmiento is more than capable of playing at a D2. I think coaches under value him because of his size, but he plays like he is the biggest player out there.

Michael Batchelor 6'2 2020 Millennium

Batchelor is a D2's dream. He is a great kid, great attitude, great work ethic, hustle player, and has amazing grades. He's a player that I call "program player". Meaning that he will come into any program, do his job, raise your team GPA, build on your culture, and never raise any issues for you. I'd be very shocked if I found someone who plays harder than Batchelor in the state. The kid is in full go 24/7.
