We not only take a look at how many points players were able to score but the efficiency level, as this is important for players transition to the next level.
Team Cobras 2021 Guard Kadyn Dawkins: This was an opportunity for him to prove himself to many as he was matched up with two adidas circuit squads and a very good Big Shots team. He passed the test with flying colors, scoring it at a very high level, averaging over 21 PPG, don’t let the height fool you, this young man can play!
Garner Road 2021 Guard Mike Best Jr: He was on a mission from the start, constantly attacking defenses and showing that he is a forced to be reckoned with when he has the ball in his hands. Leading all scorers with an average of just under 24 PPG he opened up with a game against UAA Team Felton with 30 points, and continued the high level of play throughout.
Team Wall 2020 Guard Zavian Mclean: There’s a reason why he’s picked up so many offers over the past two months, he can flat out score the ball against just about any defender. He’s a downhill guard that you can’t stop once he’s coming at you with full head of steam, he can score from every level and is impressive above the rim.
VA Havoc 2022 Forward Jaden Daughtry: His 25 PPG average will get your attention of course, but if you watched the way he scored, you will be even more impressed. Efficient and dominant by using his strength, he didn’t allow any types of defensive schemes to slow him down. He has a nice overall skillset and is one that D1 programs should already be on as he has a chance to be a special player.
Underground Phenoms 2021 Guard Dana Woodley: His ability to score from all three levels was on full display during the game we watched as he absolutely torched his opponent with 31 points. He doesn’t need much space to get his shot off, and once he gets going, he’s a tough player to attempt to defend.
Team Felton 2020 Guard Ricky Council IV: His stock has been on the rise over the last year and we got a chance to see a glimpse of why this happened, as he put together some nice performances. He can score the ball well in the half court but he flourishes when the game is up-tempo and he gets to put his full athletic ability on display.
DSJ Elite 2020 Guard Quandre Bullock: On a squad that had very few players, he was called up on to provide a high amount of scoring for his team and he stepped up in a major way. Averaging over 25 PPG which included a 33 point performance and a game winner at the buzzer, Bullock is one to keep an eye on over the next few years.
