Garner Road 2020 Forward Dayron Sharpe: No surprise here at all, Sharpe has been one of the best rebounders in the state over the past few years without a doubt. He’s only gotten better over time with his all-around game but he continues to keep the workman like mentality when it comes to rebounding the ball.
Garner Road 2021 Forward Will Felton: He’s next up in the line of talented bigs to come out of the Groad/Millbrook program and he’s beginning to come into his own. In the very first game that we saw him play in the month of July, he scored 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, as of now he has to be considered possibly the best rebounder in the state for his class.
Team Loaded 804 2022 Center Keyontae Lewis: The physical traits that he possess are plain and simply things that cannot be taught, he’s a big body that with good hands and will only get better. Considering how young he is, the potential he has to get better over time is simply scary and he’s one to keep an eye on as he may even grow some more.
Philly Hurricanes 2020 Forward Anthony Burnett: You have to love a player like Arthur, he doesn’t take any breaks on the floor, constantly bringing the energy and effort that you need. He’s a gifted rebounder not only because of that energy but his understanding of the game, finding a body to box out and using his strength to maintain his positioning.
Big Shots NC 2020 Forward Nick Farrar: The scoring numbers are what has got the attention of many and rightfully so as he has put up quite a few big time performances. However his rebounding ability should not be overlooked as he’s had quite a few double digit rebounding games. He’s not the tallest forward but he does have some size and athleticism that helps him pull down boards.
Greensboro Warriors 2019 Forward Noah Dunn: Double/Double type numbers are what we saw from Mr. Dunn just about the entire spring and summer so July was no different. He was dominant inside the paint but also showed his skillset outside the paint with his ability to knock down shots. Don’t be confused, he has perimeter skills but has no problem battling inside through physical contact to get rebounds and finish plays.
