Point guards have to be playmakers and get their teammates involved. What I value most about a great point guard is their ability to see the floor and create space. They see mismatches, control the tempo of the game and share the spotlight with their teammates.
Barnswell has great poise and confidence when the ball is in his hands. He can see players get open and deliver the ball quick as lightening. He’s precise with his passes and controls the ball with poise. Barnswell also finds creative ways to create his own shot and attack the rim.
Strengths:
- Creatively get looks with a narrow opening
- Orchestrate offense and score when necessary
5’10 Titus Hunter graduated in May but hasn’t committed to a college yet. He’s the epitome of a combo guard. Hunter is bouncy and can leap out of the gym. His flashy style of play makes him fun to watch- his athleticism makes him hard to guard.
Strengths:
- Quick with the ball and keen eyesight
- Consistent work ethic and aggressive

Jalen Behr is a 6’3 recent graduate. He hasn’t committed to a college yet. Behr fills the lane in transition well and has good speed and quickness. He shows ball handling skills that rival those of any point guard.
Strengths:
- Runs the floor well
- High basketball IQ
Every point guard knows how to lead their team and these players carry their teams effortlessly.
