Last summer, the commission on college basketball shifted the landscape of college basketball due to the FBI scandals.Instead of 3 NCAA live periods in July for travel teams, it has been reduced to one live period in July for travel teams. This change led to a period for high school coaches to showcase their teams two weekends in June. This weekend in the Cobb County area, 150 of Georgia high school’s basketball programs will show off their talents in front of college coaches from all over. Teams are divided in groups, red, blue, yellow, green. Groups are divided by how good your program is or your school size. Part 1 today, will be about the red group.
This red group at the team Georgia Camp, is loaded with star power. This is definitely the elite group of the camp. With several 5 stars, defending state champions, and plenty of guys who have made their name during the spring travel season, college coaches are salivating over this group.
