Garner Road 2020 Wing Justin Thomas: We had the chance to see Justin quite a bit during the high school basketball season and it looks like he’s picking up right where he left off. His ability to score the ball at an efficient level, and using his height and length to force teams into turnovers are some things that we like. He’s doing a much better job of being aggressive on a consistent basis and should see more schools jump on board before it’s all said and done.
Juice All-Stars 2020 Guard Lawrence Frost: We got the chance to see Frost as a middle schooler at the Elite 50 Camp where he took home MVP honors so it has been interesting to see his progress over the years. He was more of a scoring guard initially but has found a good balance between scoring and getting others involved all while bringing the same amount of effort on the defensive end. His upper body strength is something that he uses to get thru contact with ease when he attacks the paint and it should help his transition to the next level pretty smooth.
Juice All-Stars 2020 Guard AJ Thompson: When the day began his shot wasn’t falling but as time went on, he started to find his rhythm and shots began to drop at a good rate. He has a good size for a guard to go with a long wingspan and it seems as if he is playing with more confidence this year which is something that we love, he also plays the game at his own pace and doesn’t seem to get too high or too low, a solid prospect to keep an eye on.
Garner Road 2020 Guard Carson McCorkle: The UVA commit isn’t necessarily one that passes the eye test, if you had never seen him play before you could easily underestimate him. However once the game starts, he shows he’s the real deal in a hurry, knocking down the trey ball and getting into the paint to make plays for others are some of the attributes he showed.
Garner Road (Thornton) 2020 Kamon Greene: One of the better two way players on the team, he doesn’t allow his offense to dictate how much effort he gives on the defensive end. His combo of good lateral quickness and quick hands help to make him a nice defender overall, brings the effort at all times on the court that you have to love.
Garner Road (Thornton) 2020 Wing Wy’kise Allen: He’s been a player that we have been keeping a close eye on over the past few years, during his time at South Granville and with Garner Road. At about 6’4 with the ability to score the ball as well as make plays for others, you have to like what he brings to the table.
