Logan Schwartz – 6’3 – Kentucky Brigade – 2020
Logan Schwartz isn’t one of those players that will catch your eye right away but as the game progresses, he’s one that will draw more attention with his playmaking ability. He’s a crafty dribbler that can create his own shot and does a good job at getting his teammates going. He’s got added value with his ability to get to the free throw line.
Jeremy Davis – 6’1 – Kentucky Brigade – 2020
Jeremy Davis was another one of those surprise combo guards for the Kentucky Brigade this past weekend. He’s a sharpshooter that can shoot the cover off the ball, both off the catch and off the dribble. He made seven 3-pointers to the tune of 25 points against Team Xplosion then drained another four in the next game against the Alabama Celtics. He’s an underrated scorer that can fill it up in a hurry.
Nate Walker – 5’11 – Kentucky Brigade – 2021
Nate Walker is an emerging guard prospect that can also stroke it from behind the arc. Walker showed his competitive side against the Alabama Celtics, making five 3-pointers in a close 72-70 loss. He’s got potential as a combo guard that can defend and run the offense.
Evan Dearborn – 6’2 – Kentucky Brigade – 2020
Evan Dearborn is an emerging forward prospect with a smooth inside-out game. He’s a certified post but he wasn’t afraid to step out on the perimeter to shoot the 3 as well. Dearborn was active in the post all weekend long, showing off a variety of moves. He’s got potential at the next level with continued development.
Josh Williams – 6’1 – Kentucky Ambition – 2020
Kentucky Ambition had just five players on the weekend but Josh Williams carried the load with his ability to score at will. He led the 17U division in scoring average on the weekend with 22.0 points per contest. Williams showed off a knack for scoring on all three levels, though he’s a volume scorer inside the arc a majority of the time. He’s a prospect to keep an eye on for this squad.
Taylor Spurlock – 6’6 – Charlotte Court – 2020
Taylor Spurlock is a solid combo guard prospect that can score a number of ways. He showed off his ability to get to the rim as well as shoot the ball throughout the weekend. Spurlock is a player that seems to be finding his stride. He put up 19 points on all regular field goals in a tough 54-49 victory over Kentucky Ambition to open the weekend. With his size and length, he’s a prospect that should get some looks from the next level.
James Lindsay – 5’10 – Charlotte Court – 2020
James Lindsay is a point guard with a quick first step and tough finisher at the rim. He finished with 18 points in Charlotte Court’s opening game of the weekend, with most of his points coming in the paint. He can score and make plays as a floor general. He’s a prospect that should get a look from colleges in need.
Jaylen Barber – 6’8 – Charlotte Court – 2020
Jaylen Barber is a raw big man prospect that is learning how to use his size in the post. He’s an active forward in the post, especially on the glass. He runs the floor well and has decent hands off the catch. He’s a developing prospect that could draw eyes or two by the end of the summer.
