#GrindSZNKickoff Evaluations: High Plains Storm versus Tulsa Titans (15U)
D’andre Titsworth 2022 Tulsa Titans wing
- Hustle guy
- Scorer
- Rebounder
D’andre Titsworth is a hustle-first guy, through and through. Offensively, he is great at moving off-ball, creating space and knocking down shots. He can rebound well on both ends to help his team’s success and always chases loose balls. He led the Tulsa Titans’ efforts with a 14-point performance.
Roberto Hernandez 2022 High Plains Storm wing
- Scoring guard
- Lanky finisher
- Shooter
Roberto Hernandez is one of the most all-around talented players in this division. At 6-foot-4, Hernandez is taller than your prototypical freshman guard, but with all of the skill. He can score the basketball out of the dribble, shoot from long range and finish from mid-range. He can defend on both the perimeter and the paint and rebounds well, too.
Rylan Johnson 2022 High Plains Storm point guard
- Shooter
- Finisher
Rylan Johnson is among the best shooters in the 15U bracket, as he proved with his performance Saturday afternoon. He knocked down a trio of early shots and finished with 11 points on the day.
Jaden Hall 2022 High Plains Storm guard
- Steal-first defender
- Rebounder
- Floor manipulator
Jaden Hall concentrates the defense with an unprecedented talent for cutting and driving in. Hall is an explosive, strong and quick athlete who does everything pretty well. He is tough to stop once he decided to take the ball to the hole, but can also create a shot from mid or long range. Additionally, he is a great rebounding guard who usually manages to find his way to wherever the board is falling.
Brodie Berman 2021 Tulsa Titans forward
- Rebounder
Brodie Berman is a great rebounding talent for the Tulsa Titans 2022 group.
Jack Southern 2022 Tulsa Titans point guard
- Gamer
- Floor general
Jack Southern namely hit the go-ahead free throw to put the Tulsa Titans up by 1 with a second to go in the contest. Though that was his only scoring contribution of the day, however, South showcased his floor general responsibilities all day. He was great at finding players down the floor and punishing the High Plains Storm defense for its moments lacking diligence.
Brayden Johnson 2022 Tulsa Titans point guard
- Floor general
Brayden Johnson, who played up and was a significant contributor to the Titans’s 16U team earlier in the day, was an excellent floor general for the 15U team in the game as he moved the ball well to open cutters and flashing posts.
Gavin Parker 2022 High Plains Storm guard
- Volume shooter
- Glue guy
Six-foot-3-inch Gavin Parker added a trio of 3-pointers for High Plains Storm, making him a valuable piece to the puzzle for his team. His quick release and height made him a dangerous piece to what his team was able to do.
