Top Prospects From Cardinal Stritch Vs. Coldwater:
• Little Anderson (6’3” / WG 2019 / Cardinal Stritch): Little Anderson was the best player on the court, Saturday night. Leading his team in scoring, the senior picked his shots at high quality. Not really forcing anything, Anderson was able to get a number of high quality shots off. A solid spot up release from deep, where he went 2-2. Anderson can get in the lane, with good length and finish through contact. Solid ball handling skills, running the offense with poise is a plus. Also, leading Stritch in rebounding, the 6-foot-3 Anderson uses his long frame to advantage. An unsigned senior, that D2 colleges should give a long look. (23 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals)
• Marcus Bruns (6’3” / WG 2019 / Coldwater): The lefty put on a three point showcase going 5-7 from deep. Not needing much space to get it off, Bruns gets a nice arc on his shot. A tough competitor, grabbing nine rebounds, the game leader. Turns the ball over in traffic at times when doing to much, but other then that a solid showing. (25 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists)
• Jordan Burton (5’10” / G 2019 / Cardinal Stritch): Maybe the best all around game today, Burton put in work. With six assists, Burton orchestrates the offense at a high rate. A nice IQ for the game, Burton always makes the right play. Finishes well inside, with a solid first step. A solid on-ball defender, that must be highlighted as well. (15 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists)
• Jhaiden Wilson (5’5 / G 2021 / Cardinal Stritch): The player I came away most impressed with today was the youngest player on the court. At 5-foot-5, Wilson doesn’t allow that to be a factor. With blazing speed, the sophomore hits the passing lane and is off for an easy bucket on multiple occasions. A three-level scorer that shoots at a high clip from deep. Goes 100 MPH at all times on defense, a hound on the ball, not allowing the ball handler any space. Wilson is a player to watch the last couple years, especially if/when he adds a couple inches. (15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists)
