The Guards
I’m going to make the pretty safe assumption that D’Maurian Williams and Dominic Gonzalez get the start in the point guard and shooting guard spot. Both can score the ball in their own ways. Williams I think of more as a get to the basket and score type of player, while Gonzalez is more of a shooter. Gonzalez is actually one of the best three point shooters in the entire Class of 2020 in my opinion. Both are very smart guards and know where the play is going, they should compliment each other nicely.
The Forwards
I’m going to make another assumption here and guess that Emmanuel Taban and Zeke Thompkins run the small forward and power forward spot. Taban is one of the best scorers/shooters in the entire Class of 2019. His size, quick shot, and consistent shot make him a very tough assignment. Taban is very consistent from deep and when he gets hot, there’s no stopping that 3 ball from flying. Zeke Thompkins is a kid who I think is a little undervalued. I think he is super versatile, especially if you play him at the 4. He is physical enough to hold his own at that spot, while also remaining athletic and posses the ball handling to grab a board and push the ball in transition. I really like his game and I hope he has a great season, gathering some more attention.
The Big
I am going to assume that the 7 foot LaTrell Swan is going to run the center spot for Factory. Swan is actually very solid defensively and has a bit more athleticism than most people give him credit for. However, he leaves a lot to be desired offensively. Swan has a very poor shot mixed with his unorthodox shooting form. While I don’t want to limit a player and their abilities, I have to go off of what I’ve seen from the player and with that being said: I think he is best suited as a rim runner and a put back guy. He just needs to play his role and he’ll be fine! Gather up some boards, run in transition, maybe get a couple easy dunks, and get some put backs.
