2/1 – Arrowhead Warhawks at Waukesha West Wolverines:
This matchup gives us the number two pitted against the number one in the Classic Eight conference. In their previous meeting we saw Arrowhead catch fire offensively, scoring 88 points in a 28 point win. Waukesha needs to up the ante with a win, tying up the series between the two programs. The conference ladder doesn’t have much wiggle room between an interchangeable first and third seed, so the stakes are very high in this matchup.
Key Players:
Waukesha West – Cam Palesse, David Skogman, Chris Bready
Arrowhead – Carter Gilmore
1/29 – Kimberly Papermakers at Appleton West Terrors:
Most Fox Valley programs are playing catch-up to a Kimberly team sitting quite comfortably atop the conference. Appleton West, though the odds are slim, posses the roster to challenge a throne that’s been locked up all season. The conference implications? Well, West is the last turn on Kimberly’s road to a conference title. If Kimberly notches another key win on Tuesday, the remainder of the conference games will be cosmetic.
Because of weather, this game may be delayed or canceled.
Key Players:
Kimberly – Levi Borchart, Reed Miller, Jake Buchanan
Appleton West – Will Mahoney
1/29 – Madison Memorial at La Crosse Central
This marks one of La Crosse Central’s two in-state matchups that has the potential to spell upset. Madison Memorial started the season with a 9-1 record, but a four-game skid took them to 9-5. Memorial can easily do some damage in this game, but La Crosse holds all the cards. With Johnny Davis leading one of the best teams in division one, they should be the ones to win this game.

La Crosse Central – Johnny Davis
Racine Case Eagles at Franklin Sabers
Racine Case is one game above .500 in conference play. That said the trend this season has been teams clinging to bits and scraps of hope and pulling out crucial conference games to climb back up the conference ladder. Case looks to be one of these programs Tuesday night when they play 10-4 Franklin. The key to the game will be the play of Jakobe Thompson. Though just a sophomore, he’s leading his team with 20ppg. A big night from his could mean a win for a Case team that desperately needs one.
