Lumberton HS Junior Guard Jordan McNeill had a monster game against their rival Fairmont with 37 Points, 5 Rebounds. Jordan is one of the better rebounding guards in the state and has stepped into more of a scoring role this season for the Pirates as they got their first win over Fairmont in two years.
Louisburg HS Sophomore Guard Elijah Jamison continues his big time season, he scored 25 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in a loss. The amount of big time games he has put together this season has been outstanding, he already has HM offers and interest and will only get better.
Northwood Temple Senior Guard Josh Nickelberry went for 34 Points and 13 Rebounders, he is in the debate as one of the top players in the state and one of the top SG’s in the country. Nickelberry has been on a tear all season long, we expect his transition to Louisville to go very smoothly.
Village Christian Junior Guard Zavian Mclean went for 27 points in a win over Cape Fear Christian. Zavian is a player that is slowly but surely turning the heads of college coaches on the D1 level, if he continues to play at a high level, we fully expect him to pick up some offers.
71st HS Senior Forward Xavier Howard scored for 22 Points, this was his first game back with the team after first semester. Howard is a player that is a beast inside the paint but also can be a beast inside the paint.
Pender HS Junior Guard Jajuan Carr has been putting together a nice season and continued to play well against vs Wallace Rose Hill. He dropped 24 points and pulled down 8 rebounds, to go along with his stat line he threw down a self-alley-oop on the break.
Richlands HS Senior Wing Colin Radcliffe went for 30 Points in their matchup on Friday night. The 6’4 wing is averaging over 20 PPG and is slowly but surely piking up the attention of college coaches.
New Life Christian Junior Wing Reggie Raynor finished with 28 Points in a win over Charlotte Secondary on Friday night. Raynor has been playing at a high level as of late , in his last two games he’s averaging 25 a night.
