With the win, OKC Storm advances to the final of the tournament to be played Saturday night at 8:30, while the Huskies will play in the third place game on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. From the game, these were the seven most intriguing prospects.
Josh Major 2019 OKC Storm forward
Josh Major was fantastic for the OKC Storm in getting rebounds and defending the paint in the win. Major is a very traditional post type of player with a unique skill set and athleticism. He is strong and physical and plays rim protector for the Storm.
Dalante Shannon 2021 Edmond North point guard
Dalante Shannon has played great basketball through the first two games of the Titan Classic. He dropped 10 points in the low-scoring affair to lead the Huskies, but all 10 points were fought for. His shot wasn’t quite falling like it was the night before, but he played fantastic defense, rebounded, and led the floor to fill those gaps.
Zeph Smith 2019 OKC Storm point guard
Zeph Smith came out of the gate and played very impressive basketball, scoring the ball well out of the dribble and bringing energy to the Storm. In his 15-point performance, Smith shot at a high percentage and took shots he was confident in, rather than forcing things.
Andrew Lewis 2020 OKC Storm wing
Andrew Lewis was great in the win, playing explosive, tenacious, aggressive basketball on both ends. Offensively, he scored the ball well, finishing with 8 points in a low-scoring game. He got to the rim well and used his speed to create scoring opportunities for himself and for others. Defensively, he did a good job of keeping guys in front of him and rebounding on the miss.
Elijah Mason 2020 Edmond North forward
Elijah Mason was physical and scored the ball well in the Huskies’ loss. With 8 points, he played a good game in the paint, defended well, and rebounded well to aid the Huskies’ effort. He was tough, relentless, and held opposing forwards to 2 total points in the paint.
Tiag Champney 2020 OKC Storm guard
Tiag Champney showed off great defensive skills and his sneaky athleticism in the win. He finished with 7 points for the Storm, shooting the ball well and playing at a fast pace to keep the Huskies on their toes.
Trey Nolen 2019 Edmond North point guard
Trey Nolen knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in the loss as he has been a great shooter for the Huskies in the first two nights of the Titan Classic. Nolen also brings a lot of energy to the floor.
