Durham Academy G/F MJ Rice: You will hear his name over and over again these next few years without a doubt. HM programs have already offered and Duke even dropped in to take a look at him, don’t be shocked to see come back and dominate during Spring AAU season.
Riverside HS-Williamston Wing/Forward Avion Pinner: A lot of potential in this young man, he’s had some good showings as well as few off games but that’s to be expected. He is learning on a regular basis and shows flashes of good he can be, you have to be excited about his potential.
Southern Lee Guard Jamori McDougald: Prior to injury he was playing at a high level, playing some SG as well as taking on the PG responsibilities at certain times. Unsure of how long it will be until he returns, we expect him to not miss much of a beat when he returns, a lot of potential in this youngster.
Trinitiy Christian Guard Freddie Dillone: It’s been a process for him of course, which isn’t much of a surprise, anytime you come into a program that has won multiple state chips in years it will take some time. He has shown some flashes this season of what he can be, displaying his double crossover move and even knocking down some shots at times.
Wayne Christian Guard Jaydon Young: The level that he is playing at right now has been tremendous, he’s averaging 25 PPG for his squad and has dropped over 40 points in multiple games. Goldsboro has been home to quite a few star players, most recently Coby White who is currently a starting PG for UNC and future NBA player. Keep an eye on this youngster as he has the chance to be a very special player and prospect before it’s all said and done.
