MD Top 250 Best Upperclassmen Playmakers
BALTIMORE, MD — The Prep Hoops Top 250 came to the Park School of Baltimore on Saturday, where the talent level was high and the competition fierce. Here we resume our coverage of the event by taking a closer look at five of the best upperclassmen playmakers.
MICHAEL KATSOCK | ST. ALBANS ’20
Michael Katsock was not just one of the best shooters in the gym on, but also one of the best distributors of the ball. The 6-foot-6 wing has the ability to see over top of the defense, and demonstrated the willingness consistently to set up his teammates with timely, accurate passes.
WADE JACKSON | GONZAGA ’20
6-foot-2 guard Wade Jackson continued to show signs of improvement when we evaluated him this past weekend. Jackson has improved as a playmaker off the dribble, and was constantly setting up teammates with easy looks.
TOUSSAINT PARRIS-GRANT | ARUNDEL CHRISTIAN ’20
Toussaint Parris-Grant is the type of player who can make all types of plays, with or without the ball. We liked how Grant filled the lanes correctly in transition, and made quick decisions while in possession of the ball.
AARON RUSSELL | BISHOP MCNAMARA ’20
Aaron Russell was one of the breakout performers of the camp because of his ability to score from the perimeter and create for others in transition. Russell was a lot of fun to watch, and his productivity level was high throughout the day.
MARSHALL TANZ | KEY SCHOOL ’20
Marshall Tanz demonstrated a very high basketball IQ and was very efficient with the ball on Saturday. Tanz played an unselfish brand of basketball which became contagious among his teammates.
