Breakdown of the 11th-15th ranked players in the Virginia 2021 Class
Earlier in July we released our first version of our Virginia 2021 rankings. The list starts with 50 prospects but it will certainly grow as this particular class in Virginia is loaded with talent. We will continue to do multiple different breakdowns of this class. In this particular article you will get a brief breakdown of the players that are ranked from 11th to 15th in the 2021 class in the state of Virginia.
2021 Quadir Pettaway | Hampton Roads Academy
A lot of people have known about Quadir for quite sometime and just recently he blew up a little more on the national stage as he made the Hoop Group Future All American All Star Game after being noticed as one of the top 20 prospects there. Quadir is a smaller guard with great explosiveness and can score the ball in bunches.
2021 Matt Nunez | Woodside
Get ready to hear a lot more about Nunez as he gets older. High major programs are already keeping close tabs on him as he is someone that could definitely rise in the rankings. He is coming off a great summer with Boo Williams as he established himself as someone that can score the basketball efficiently in the low post.
2021 Avery Ford | Paul VI
Ford was one of the best role players and bench players this past season for the WCAC regular season champions, Paul VI. Avery is a guy that can do anything a coach asks for and will contribute wherever his presence is needed. Expect his role to increase this upcoming high school season.
2021 Bryson Spell | Cape Henry
Bryson will be one of the top players in the TCIS this season for the Virginia Beach powerhouse, Cape Henry Collegiate. Bryson is a guy with a ton upside and a player that can already score the ball in a variety of ways. His jumper is pretty spot on and I expect him to be one of the best scorers in the TCIS this upcoming season.
2021 Marcus Banks | Walsingham
Marcus is another guy that will make a lot of noise and put up big numbers in the TCIS this winter. When people are talking about the best shooters in the state of Virginia, Marcus Banks deserves to be in the topic of conversation. Banks is a phenomenal shooter who can light it up quickly.
