Weekend Recap: New Offers
The second certified period of July is now behind us and this past weekend was a good one for some Kentucky players. Here’s a look at the new scholarship offers that have come over the last 7 days.
Kenny White of Madisonville – North Hopkins picked up his first scholarship offer from Kent State then followed that up with an offer from Tennessee-Martin. White is one of my favorite players in 2020 and is finally starting to put it together. Look for his momentum to carry into his Junior season for the Maroons.
White’s AAU teammate Jackson Sivills had a productive week also. Sivills also was offered by Kent State and Tennessee-Martin. Jackson later picked up offers from Samford and Rice. Jackson is our top ranked 2020 and is continuing to impress college coaches.
The biggest riser of the summer is Pendleton County’s Dontaie Allen. Dontaie has picked up a bunch of offers since July AAU started. This last week he added an offer from Clemson University coach Brad Brownell.
Allen’s AAU teammate Isaiah Cozart has built up a pretty impressive offer list this month also. Cozart just added an offer from Radford over the weekend and will look to possibly be a high major level recruit by the end of the weekend.
Our top ranked 2021 recruit Zion Harmon landed a new offer from Auburn University on Sunday. Harmon recently landed at Marshall County to continue his high school career.
Central Hardin’s Jacob Hobbs picked up his first D1 offer from Liberty University. Hobbs has made tremendous strides this spring and summer and his hard work is paying off.
Another of our top ranked 2019 players, Michael Moreno has added an offer from Arkansas-Little Rock to his impressive list. Look for Moreno to continue impressing coaches and adding to his list.
2019’s KyKy Tandy also added an offer from Clemson at the start of the certified period. Tandy has as an impressive an offer list as anyone in the country.
