Elite 32 Tourney: 2018 & 2019 New Names to Know!
Team NGB 2018 Guard Hassan Romulus: Provided a nice spark for his squad in a moment where they were in somewhat of a dry spell, He knocked down a trey ball from the top of the key that helped his squad to begin to make a run. Nice efficiency and good shooting mechanics on his shot led us to believe that he does this on normal basis.
Team NGB 2018 Wing Eddie McMillan Jr: With a quick first step and solid ability to get to the cup, he is a type of player that you would call a slasher. He found gaps in the defense throughout the day and got into the paint to score or force the defense to collapse.
Team NGB 2018 Forward/Center Keonte Taylor: In this event he played the enforcer type role for the squad, not allowing any easy buckets and challenging the oppositions bigs. He has good hands, rebounds it at a nice level, and was solid defending without fouling.
Coopshoopz 2019 Guard Isaiah Donaldson: There was a lot to like about the way he played throughout this tournament. He scored the ball at a very high level and was able to do so by using his quickness and strength. Anytime you see a guard that can get into the paint, embrace contact and finish without much of a problem, you have to be impressed.
TCA Pistons 2019 Forward Jaden Kirkland: We can tell that he has putting some more time into his game, he’s handling the ball better, knocking down the midrange shots, and just seems more comfortable overall. Going into his senior year, he will be one to keep an eye on as he can be a player that can be productive as a stretch forward type of player.
Team Premier 2019 Donte Johnson: We have seen him quite a bit over the years with Greene Central HS, so we already knew what to expect. He rebounds the ball well, battles inside with bigger opponents and runs the floor well, does the dirty work for his team.
