The Matt Reynolds Oklahoma Showcase featured several 2019 prospects that had great showings. Prep Hoops takes a look at the players who raised their stock with great performances on Saturday.
Dante Lightfoot 2019 Guard
Lightfoot had a great showing at the Matt Reynolds Oklahoma Showcase! What makes Lightfoot a player to know is his efficiency shooting the basketball. Lightfoot can score at all three levels. He is best at getting to the rim. The excellent handle and vision of Lightfoot help him to make others better around him. Lightfoot is a player small colleges should know heading into his senior year.
Parker Clarida 2019 Point Guard
Clarida tore up the camp scoring the ball lights out off the dribble. There were a lot of players that could score the ball well from being set up by one of their teammates, Clarida was fantastic at setting himself up for good looks at the basket. He also posted good numbers in rebounding and assist. Clarida is set for an excellent senior year at Edmond Memorial next year. Small colleges should keep close tabs on Clarida.
Antonio Gordon 2019 Forward
Gordon dominated the camp from start to finish scoring at all three levels with great explosiveness. He has turned himself into a reliable three-point shooter that can stretch the floor at the four. Gordon wowed the crowd with several thunderous dunks. Rebounding is an area Gordon continues to dominate in every game he plays in. Gordon is becoming one of the top prospects in the 2019 Oklahoma Class. Gordon was the best prospect at the camp. He projects to the NCAA Division I Mid Major level.
Sando Hill 2019 Guard
Hill is an exciting 2019 Guard to watch with his sturdy athletic build. He is super bouncy with a streaky jump shot. When Hill got hot, he was unstoppable. He was great at boxing out and made pulling rebounds down a priority. He also exploited the passing lanes coming up with a ton of steals.
Davante Robinson 2019 Guard
Robinson has a good looking jumper. He shot it best from three-point range. Robinson was very active on the court seemingly ending up with the basketball a ton. He also made his teammates better with crisp passes. Robinson projects to the small college level.
Jacob Mershon 2019 Guard
Mershon shot the ball extremely well throughout the day. He is an undersized Guard that thrives off of finding ways to get open shots from deep and mid-range. Mershon has a solid handle that helps him create when he needs to. He was also good in catch and shoot situations.
Stevie Davis 2019 Wing
Davis is a high volume shooter that scored best from inside the arc. What made him stick out was how many different areas of the game he impacted positively for his team. Davis was one of the top scorers at the camp. The smooth flow Davis plays with is fun to watch.
Jacob Thionnet 2019 Wing
Thionnet is a sneaky athletic Wing with good upside in the 2019 Oklahoma Class. He scored the ball great by getting to the basket with strong drives. He can finish with both hands and has great length, which also helps. Rebounding was clearly an area Thionnet excels in with great two-hand form rebounding. He projects to the NCAA Divison II level.
Camden Patovisti 2019 Wing
Patovisti was great at doing the dirty work for his squad. He did a little bit of everything scoring, rebounding, and playing tough on defense. Patovisti appears to be ready to step up at Bishop Kelley next year and take on a more significant role. He will project to the small college level.
