Oklahoma Week 9 Player of the Week
Milwood 2018 Forward Deontre Price is the Prep Hoops Oklahoma Player of the Week! He had a tremendous week helping the Falcons to victory. Price has been a huge key to the success of Millwood this season. As the Falcons head into the playoffs this week they have earned a record of 16-6. Price is a 6’1 Forward with great athleticism, toughness and a knack for making plays. On the season Price is averaging 15.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
“He is an offensive minded with a lot of potential,” said Millwood Coach Micheal Jeffries.
Price could be a late steal for a small college with his athleticism. The ability of Price to play positions 2-4 for Millwood adds to his intrigue. He is going to be a Wing in college. Being able to play against bigger guys will pay off for Price and the college program that lands him. Millwood will look to Price to help lead the way to the state tournament in Class 3A. The Falcons have another Gold Ball in mind to send off longtime Coach Varryl Franklin off with yet another state championship.
